“I don’t think that visiting my family is the best idea, Twixx”I said while we’re on our way to Pangasinan. I want to spend my weekend on a road trip, but not like this.
“I need to prove to them that my intentions are pure”he replied. “That I won’t hurt you. That my family won’t hurt you”
He held my hand resting on my tight. I looked at him. “I got this. Trust me”
“What if they tell me to leave you?”alam ko naman kasi na ayaw ni mommy kay Twixx.
Alam ko na ayaw niya na magkaron ako ng koneksyon sa pamilya niya. Alam ko na magagalit siya sa akin kapag nakita niya na magkasama pa rin kami ni Twixx.
“What if we try not to leave on each other’s life, Eri?”he answered. He’s eyes are not looking at me but he’s smiling. I can see his dimples from here.
“You won’t leave me, right?”I didn’t know why I’m scared. I trust him. I always trust him, but he’s a guy.
“Tell me why would I leave you, Eri?”he asked me.
Umiwas ako ng tingin sa kanya. “Because we had sex?”
He chuckled.
Tumingin ako sa kanya ng masama, pero patuloy pa rin siya sa pagtawa dahil sa sinabi ko. Totoo naman kasi. Alam ko naman na babaero siya. Madami siyang naging babae bago niya ako nakilala, bago naging kaming dalawa.
“Even if we do that every day, Eri, I won’t ever leave you”he made me cry for good.
He caressed his hand on my face, wiping my tears. I laid my hand on his shoulder as we’re bort looking at the road.
“Do you think that we’re meant to be, Twixx?”
He chuckled. “What makes you think that we weren’t meant to be?”
“My what ifs I guess”I asnwered.
“I don’t want to live my life if it isn’t you in the end, Eri”tinignan niya ako saglt at ngumiti.
He’s always making me feel so special. I never thought that he would be so romantic like this. I never met someone like Twixx before. And if I would have a chance to live again, it’s him that that I will choose forever.
“I wanna marry you. I wanna live my life with you. I wanna spend every seconds of my life with you. I wanna be with you until the end of time. It’s always you, Eri.”he said.
“Are you planning to propose on me today, Mr. Twixx Sebastian Solano?”I asked him as he continued to laugh.
“As much as I want to, hindi pa tayo pwede magpakasal”he replied. “Wala pa akong trabaho. Hindi pa tayo doktor. We still don’t have a house. I don’t want you to starve. I don’t want to starve our future kids”
He never failed to make me smile. “It’s you that I wanna marry someday. So, hold on a little bit longer. Madami pa tayong pagdadaanan bago kita mapakasalanan”
I wiped my tears but it kept on flowing. “I wanna know what it feels like when we’re working on the same hospital”
I love imagining my future with him.
“I wanna become a doctor now so I can marry you tomorrow”I said.
He chuckled. “There’s no easy way to become a doctor but as long as we have each other, I know that we can make it”
“Promise me one thing, Twixx”I said and he looked at me for a second. “We will become a doctor someday. You and I, together”
“Hold on to that promise, Eri. We will become a doctor. A great doctor someday”he said.
