I woke up inside the hospital, I can’t barely feel my body. Sobrang sakit. Meron akong nakitang lalaki na tulog sa gilid ko, hawak niya ang kamay ko pero hindi ko siya kilala. Wala akong maalala. Wala akong maalala sa nangyari, kung bakit ako nandito, kung ano’ng nangyari sa akin.
“Ericka, you’re awake!”the guy beside me yelled. Tumayo siya at lumabas para tumawag ng doktor.
“Okay ka lang? Ano’ng masakit sa’yo?”
“I can’t remember anything”I said. “I can’t remember you”
“Ericka…”
“Your sister has an amnesia, Lukas, kaya siya walang maalala. Hindi natin alam kung kailan babalik iyong alaala niya”the doctor confirmed my condition.
“But in the other hand, the baby is safe”
“Baby? What baby?”tanong ng lalaking katabi ko, kuya ko siya sabi ng doktor.
“Eri is two weeks pregnant”my lips parted.
Hindi ko alam iyong sasabihin ko kasi wala naman akong maalala sa nangyari sa akin. Nanghihina pa rin ako. Wala na akong lakas.
“Ericka, are you okay?”another guy entered the room.
“Excuse me,”lumabas iyong doktor pero nanatili ang tingin ko doon sa lalaki na dumating.
“She’s pregnant, Stephen”kuya said.
“I don’t care, I will make sure that he will rot in jail!”Stephen said.
I don’t have any idea who’s this guy. Ano ko siya? Bakit galit na galit siya?
“What happened to me?”I asked them.
“You fucking boyfriend tried to kill you, Eri!”Stephen replied while clenching his fist.
“I saw it! I saw it from my own eyes! Hawak niya iyong kutsilyo!”
The father of my baby tried to kill us?
“Who shouldn’t be bias, Stephen! We need to know his side”kuya replied.
“What if naframe-up lang siya?”
“I saw the CCTV Footage in the hallway of the condominium, Lukas!”his eyes are full of anger.
“Hinila niya si Ericka papunta sa elevator!”
“And why do you think Twixx wants to kill Ericka, ha, Stephen?”hindi ko alam kung kanino ako maniniwala, pero sapat na rason na iyong sinabi ni Stephen na nakita niya iyong boyfriend ko na may hawak na kutsilyo.
“But he tried to kill me, kuya…”I looked at kuya while tears are falling. Mabuti na lang ligtas iyong anak ko.
“Ericka, wala ka ba talagang maalala?”tanong sa akin ni kuya. Bakit hindi siya naniniwala na pinagtangkaan iyong buhay ko?
Umiling ako.
“Ericka”a lady who looked like me came in and hugged me tight, I guess she’s my mother and she’s with a man.
My father. “Who did this to you!”
“Twixx is the main suspect, nakita siya sa crime scene, dad”
“With evidence?”dad asked.
He nodded.
“Hindi na dapat natin pinagkatiwalaan iyong lalaking iyon!”sumasakit lang iyong ulo ko kapag naririnig ko sila na nag-aaway.
“I didn’t want to believe that he’s capable of doing that to our daughter…”mom said.
Hindi ko alam.
