Today is kuya’s graduation day. We’re celebrating in here in our resort with my whole family, kasama na rin sina Stpehen, Kyle at Markus. Wala pa dito si Twixx kasi aattend daw siya ng kasal ni Paulo. I heard that Paulo’s girlfriend is dying, pero gusto pa rin daw niya itong pakasalan despite of her disease.
“Congratulations, my lawyers!”lahat kami ay masaya dahil graduate na ang kuya ko.
Ipasa na lang niya iyong BAR exam at lawyer na talaga si kuya parang si daddy. “Prepare for you board exam, madugo iyon”
“We are hundred percent ready for that, tito”Stpehen chuckled.
“Ikaw, Eri? Next year gagraduate ka na, ha?”ngumiti ako sa mga magulang ko.
“Oo naman, dad. Ako pa ba? Magiging doktor din ako”kailangan kong maging doktor dahil gusto ko maging katulad ni mommy.
After we ate dinner, dumiretcho kami sa pool area to have some bonding together. Nagswiswimming kami habang nasa tabi ako ng gutter, kausap si mommy.
“So, Twixx is here in Pangasinan din? Pupunta ba siya dito? ”tanong sa akin ni mommy tapos tumango ako. Parang datil pinapalayo niya ako kay Twixx, pero ngayon hinahanap na niya si Twixx.
“He’s attending his friend’s wedding, pero susunod daw siya dito after the ceremony”and she nodded while eating some snacks.
I don’t want to disturb him while he’s with his friends. Gusto ko na mag-enjoy siya kasama ang mga kaibigan niya dahil alam ko na sa dulo ay sa akin pa rin ang oras niya. I looked at my phone because I saw that Twixx is calling.
“Hey, where are you?”umahon ako sa pool habang kausap ko si Twixx sa phone.
“I guess that I can’t make it today, Eri”his voice is cracking. May nangyari ba na masama?
“What happened? Are you okay? What happened to Paulo’s wedding? Where are you?”
“Paulo called, kailangan isugod si Yve sa hospital. He needs us there…”I got worried for Twixx. I never heard the tone of his voice like that.
“Pupuntahan kita. Text me the hospital, okay?”I didn’t know why my hands are shaking right now.
Maybe because I’m worried about my boyfriend, Twixx.
“Okay…”I ended the phone call and grabbed my towel.
“Twixx need me, mom. Pupuntahan ko siya sa hospital”umahon ako sa pool at maglalakad na sana ako palayo pero nagsalita si Markus.
“What happened to Twixx?”Markus asked.
He’s worried about Twixx too. Sobrang close talaga nilang dalawa ni Twixx.
“It’s not him, he’s fine. Kailangan niya lang ako do’n”sagot ko.
“Text me if you need me, okay?”mommy said and I hugged her before going out.
I’m with Markus. He’ll drive me to the hospital. Sana okay lang si Yve. Huwag muna sana siyang kunin kasi alam ko na mahal na mahal siya ni Paulo.
Nang makarating kami sa Hospital ay agad kaming pumunta sa ICU at nakita ko roon si Twixx, katabi ni Paulo at nakasuot pa sila ng pang-kasal. Naawa ako noong makita ko na umiiyak si Paulo habang hinahagod naman ni Twixx ang likod neto.
“Twixx…”I called out his name and when he saw me, he hugged me tight.
“Let me just stay here for Paulo, please?”mahal na mahal talaga ni Twixx ang mga kaibigan niya. He’s always the best friend you can ever have.
