Chapter 5 Part 2

It was now 5:00 a.m. in the morning and we were standing in what would look to be like an old construction site. And Sensei was working us to the Bone even me. He made me carry two bags of cement on the top of my head since I couldn't use both arms. For some odd reason, we were making cement. "Sensei why are we mixing cement," Miguel asked. "No questions just keep stiring" since I said before walking away. "I just want you to know that this is all you guys' fault," I said while tirely putting a bag of cement down. "Okay we get it you yeah that is yesterday remember," Miguel said. "Yeah I know I just want you guys to feel bad," I said smirking. Suddenly we were snapped out of our work when we heard a honking of a truck. A guy got out and walked over to the Sensei and didn't handshake before handing him the keys. Sensei then walked over to us and told everybody to get in the front. He walked over and stood in front of the cement truck before he started talking. "You think winning the All Valley gives you the right to goof off, well I got news for you winning one championship doesn't mean squat. A true champion never stops training. You got to keep moving forward or else you could get stuck exactly where you are it's like the cement in this truck. If that drum doesn't start turning this cement inside it will harden and get stuck is that what you want to happen to you" he asked. "No sensei" we yelled. "Good then climb up and get inside and make it spin" 

everybody then started looking around nervously at each other while I just shook my head. "Okay I'll go is there anyone here brave enough to join me, "I said stepping up. Nobody was even brave enough to look me in my eyes. "Sensei we're sorry for messing around," Aisha said. "We learned our lesson" hawk added. Sensei didn't listen to a word they said instead he just pulled down the cement truck ladder. "Sensei this is kind of dangerous I mean the fumes alone-" "QUIET," a voice said grabbing our attention. Krease sat up and walked over to us. "This man led you to the mountaintop and you question him," he said. "Look at you look at all of you I can't believe this pathetic pack of pussies competed in the All Valley in let alone won, I mean this kid over here has one wing and still brave enough to get inside. I mean it's an absolute miracle and who is responsible for that miracle Johnny Lawrence, the best student in the history of Cobra Kai, My student" Krease said.

"You were Sensei's sensei," Hawk asked. "you better believe it kid and I tell you I never trained a tougher student and my whole life so if you know what's good for you you better listen to every goddamn word he says," he said. "Okay enough of the kiss ass, now I'll ask once again who is going to join me inside this thing," I said. It was quiet for a second until Miguel stepped up. "I'll do it Sensei". "That's my baby bro let's get it, "I said excitedly. I climbed inside with Miguel. And then came Hawk and Aisha. "Holy shit," I said. As soon as I stepped in I slid right down into the cement. Soon as I tried to walk I slipped and fell right on my ass making Miguel laugh. I flipped him off and got back up. as soon as he tried to walk in and he slipped and fell on his ass too. I laughed at Hawk and Aisha and all the people who are trying to walk in it. It felt weird on our bodies as some of us even started mixing it with our foot. we were snapped out of our thoughts when we heard sensei's voice come from the outside. "Well don't just stand there you want to get stuck, move," he said. "Come on guys let's get started," I said. we all move to one side and started pushing on it and also trying not to fall at the same time.

 We were calling at the cement that was already stuck to the walls while also trying not to get stuck by the cement that was already on the floor. "On my account guys all right" I yelled out. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea" hawk said. "Okay, you ready for this Chris," I asked him "you call me by my name," he said. "dude that's like the least important thing right now" I snapped at him "Yeah yeah you're right I'm sorry, I'm ready," he said. "3...2...1". We all started pushing and grunting to my surprise it actually started moving. "It's working," Aisha said. "Yeah it is but doesn't stop now keep going," I said. We continue to push harder until it started actually spinning. "Go go go," Miguel said. Chris slipped up and fell butt but I managed to get him back up in time. "So this how a Hamster feels," I said. "We're doing it," Chris said. "Faster faster faster" Hawk yelled. After everybody had their turn in the cement truck since they went around with a whole spring everybody to get the summer off the best he could. "You should all be proud of yourself and know I'm proud your parents will be proud too if you told them what we did here today which we won't," he said making me chuckle. "Like champions never stopping, never being satisfied, never giving up and if you keep pushing and keep moving forward you're going to go to places you never even dreamed of," he said smiling at Miguel and I.

he then dismissed us and everybody was allowed to go back home and officially get cleaned up. After I got dressed I got a call. I looked at the ID to see it was an unknown number. "Hello," I said awkwardly. "Hey, Carlos it's Sam". "Sam girl you scared the mess out of me," I said. she chuckled to herself before she said. "Hey are you busy right now" . "no, not really is everything okay, "I asked. "It's not me it's Robby I think you should go talk to him," she said "Why what's wrong with him something happened," I asked my voice full of concern. "Robbie told me that you and he are really long-time friends" she stated "Yeah you're going off-topic though did something happen," I asked again. "How much do you know of Robbie's home life". I sighed and pinch the bridges of my nose before I spoke again. "Hey, Sam do me a favor and send me his address" "sure thing right away thank you for doing this," she said. "yeah no problem. I said hanging up the phone.
