Miguel and I were both standing outside of the dojo and I was getting annoyed on how long it was taking for Sensei to get here. "Oh my God what is taking you so long," I said annoyed. "well it's insane you know he likes to make an entrance," Miguel said. I scoffed at his comment. Then a red car pulled in to the parking lot in out came Sensei Lawrence. "They sense that you told him to be here at 5 right" Miguel asked. "Yeah but today's training is canceled," he said unlocking the door. "What why," Miguel asked whining a baby. We followed him in and I set our stuff on the ground. "Because I said so, "Sensei said walking into the back. "But Sensei we have something to show you," Miguel said unzipping his bag "not right now I'm not in the mood," Sensei said before opening up a beer. Miguel set the laptop down on your table for Sensei to see. "We made a web page for Cobra Kai I made it while Carlos did the designs in during study hall," Miguel said excitedly. "Click on the snake," I said smiling. he was hesitant for a moment but when he finally clicked on it he smiled at me.

"Okay this is the sign-in page now I was thinking maybe we can make an app where you can track your progress get a social media campaign going you did out to the school the possibilities are endless," Miguel said enthusiastically. Miguel's ringtone started going off which may all of us jump. "Oh that's her mom I'll call her back," he said. "Hey was that just" "rat awesome right," Miguel said finishing his sentence. "he went online looking for guns and roses and ended up going on this 80s rock rabbit hole which is kinda dope," I said. "All right," Sensei said setting down his beer. "You to meet me at the high school at midnight don't be late," he said smiling Miguel and I both have daughters are seats with a confused look on our faces. "What for, "we said simultaneously. "you want to learn how to kick your ass before she got to learn how to kick," he said. A smile grew on Miguel and our faces thinking of all the possibilities.

Somehow Miguel and I managed to sneak out of the house without are Mom or Grandma noticing. Can we get there since it was waiting for us outside the pool house? "Sensei what are we doing at midnight," I asked "yeah are you sure we're supposed to be here," Miguel asked with concern. "Yeah guys don't worry my buddies a night janitor," he said. We walked over to the empty pool full water. "All right let me see your hands, Carlos," he said. I willingly stuck out my hands not knowing what was about to happen. He then grabs the rope and started tying around my wrist. Miguel started freaking out about what was happening. "What are you doing". "When you're in a fight your first instinct is to use your hands right you have to unlearn that" "Cardinals why are you not freaking out like I am right now," he asked me. " Eh I've been through worse," I said. He girl grabbed another rough and started turning around Miguel's wrists when he was done he stood between the two of us and said. "Think with your legs," he said "how do we think without legs," Miguel asked. "Oh, you just uh" without hesitation he pushed us both into the pool.

I'm not going to lie he caught me off the amount of water that enters my nose and my ears were too much and I will slowly drowning. but before I could actually die I felt a hand on my hair pulling up to the surface. I look to my right to see Miguel right next to me coughing up water. "That....was..a dick move, "I said while coughing up water. "I'm drowning," Miguel said. "Don't drown, drowning's for pussies use your legs" sensei said before letting us go again. This time I actually started using my legs which helped a little bit but not much. But as was starting to run out of air I felt another hand reach out and grab me by my hair lifting me up above the water. "I swear....if I die....I'm going to come back to life......and kick your ass," I said tiredly. "Yeah I'm dying," Miguel said. "Cobra Kai never dies, say it" Sensei yelled enthusiastically "Cobra Kai never dies, "we said while choking on water. "Say it as if your life depends on it," said. "COBRA KIA NEVER DIES" we yelled.

 "Good now I'm not going to help you guys this time" as soon as he said those words Miguel started to panic. "You guys have all the power that you need it's in your legs," he said before letting us go again. as soon as you are going started flailing my legs around trying to stay above. I was using more and more of my strength as I kept flailing my legs around. I almost gave up letting some of the sir bubbles fly from my mouth. but then I thought of my mother my grandma and of course my little brother. Thinking how they look all these just died here. So with all my strength are started moving my legs into a pattern where it was letting my body shoot straight up. When I got above the water like a gasp for air. I look to my right to see my Miguel was right by my side. I looked up to see Sensei Lawrence was staring at us with a big smile on his face. "You better not untie.....my arms because if you.......do I might strangle you with this rope," I said trying to stay afloat.

The next few days were like a dream and Sensei was teaching us how to kick correctly. Miguel couldn't even crack 1 bored in the beginning while I damaged it a little. And since than he still took us back to the swimming pool to get our leg strength up. I always hated that part but I knew it was benefiting us so I kept my mouth shut and just did it. But when the end of the week came we each broke three separate boards in half. And don't know how but last night we managed to stay afloat 10 minutes.  "You guys are doing great keep going," Sensei said. We were focused until we heard someone shout. "Hey what are you doing in here you can't be in here," the security guard said. "We got to go, come on you two," Sensei said dragging us out of the pool, "I thought you knew this guy," Miguel said. "Of course not I lied," he said. Miguel and I both groaned in annoyance. "I fucking knew it, "I said before we ran out of the pool house.
