I was walking in the middle of the hallway with Miguel as he was trying to talk Dimitri into not quitting Cobra Kai. "Come on you can't quit after one day," Miguel said. "I got yelled at, got my ass kicked, and then gave him my money. You know who lives like that, hookers" he said angrily. "Kind of deserved it," I said speaking my first words into the conversation. he was looking at me with an angry expression before I shrugged and said "What you're being disrespectful means disrespect the karate master and his own dojo" I said while doing a cheeky smile. "Yeah plus he's not that bad, you got to give him a chance, and plus you don't know him like we do" Miguel stated. "I see that's Hooker talk besides I don't need to learn karate when I have you too," he said. I shook my head and sighed as he smiled. As we were walking we all stopped when we saw Kyler standing across the room. "Keep walking or I will break my foot off into your ass," I said in a cold tone. Kyler looks to the ground afraid before he walked off. "See nobody's going to mess with you guys," Dimitri said happily.

We walked into our first class and went to our seats. The first Bell of the day had wrong in Sam Larusso came walking in with a sucker stuck to her back. We started carrying all the laughs and Snickers towards her. If anything I didn't feel angry towards her anymore I felt sorry. "I'll be right back guys," I said before walking over to her table. I took a seat right next to her and she didn't even bet that I had me. I smiled before I said, "you know if you like candy there are better ways to keep tabs on them". "What," she said what they confused look on her face. I didn't reached out and grabbed the sucker from her head and showed it to her. She sighed in embarrassment and she shook her head. "Thanks for the blow Pop guys it never gets old," she said her name annoyed tone. "I guess I should have taken your advice on friendship," she said sadly. "Yeah sorry about that day," I said scratching the back of my head. "What day," she asked looking confused. "The first day I met you I was really angry that day and I wanted to protect my brother," I said. "Yeah thank you for teaching Kyler and his friends a lesson," she said gratefully. "What are you thanking me for Miguel's the one that beat the crap out of them I just handled Tyler. You want to thank somebody thank him," I said. "Maybe I will," she said looking back and smiling at Miguel.

We were snapped out of our conversation by the teacher. "who let the pigs out, I did because I bought the feeble pigs, no but seriously everybody gets back to their seats" he said tiredly. Samantha then turns to me with a giant smile on her face. "Will you please be my partner" she begged. I put my hand on my chin and started thinking until a smile crept on my face. "No," I said. Her smile turned into sorrow as soon as I said those words. "what" she said sadly. "I'm not going to be your partner, he is," I said turning around and pointing to my brother. She had a confused look on her face and tried to ask me a question but I cut her off. "Hold on just hold on."I got up from my seat and started walking towards Miguel and Dimitri. "Mr. Diaz" "Mr. Kepler," I said In an annoyed tone. "Shouldn't you be in a seat right now" he said. "what do you think I'm doing" I walked back over to Miguel and grabbed him from his seat. He looked at me with a confused face and said "what the hell are you doing" he asked. "You're going to be partners with Sam," I said as I sat in his seat. He turned to her then back at me which made me glare at him. "Fine whatever," he said. He turned walked over to her table and sat right next to her. She gratefully thanked him which made Miguel smile.

We were back at the dojo doing stretches when it sensei walked in and told us to get in our rows. He then looked around the room and stuck his hands in the air confused. "Where is everyone crater face, nose ring, slingshot," he said. "They all quit Sensei," Miguel said. "Are you serious?" he said looking at Miguel with a surprised face. He looked around the room and realized he was showing how nervous he was. "I mean good, that was a test," he said awkwardly. "I wanted to see who the quitters are, not you guys you're in it to win it," he said in an encouraging voice. "You could be at home playing your eye computers, playing your video games, eating candy," he said. I looked around to room still seeing the nervous faces of the kids. "Instead you're here doing push-ups and learning how to fight," he said nodding his head and looking around the room. His eyes laid in on Eli in which he called him out "look even lip's tougher than those guys, he's no quitter" he said pointing to Eli. "Could you not call me that please? "Eli said softly. "Excuse me what"since I said taking offense. "I warm 'em up, sensei"make sure they're trying to defuse the situation. "No, lip has something he wants to say," sensei said. 

"Oh this is not going to end well" I whispered to Miguel. Since they started dangerously walking up to Eli saying "sorry I couldn't hear you speak up lip or is your tongue messed up too". He was now in Eli's face to which I knew he was uncomfortable. "Are you one of those challenged kids?" sensei asked. "Um, the doctor said I could be on a spectrum" Eli replied uncomfortably. "I don't know what that is but get it pronto all right, if you don't want me to call you Lip then don't have a weird lip". "All right Sensei that's enough," I said but I was ignored. "Can't you get surgery" "I was born with a cleft lip its the scar from the surgery" Eli said. "You mean it was worse before that or did the doctor just screw up" sensei replied. "Sensei come on," I said getting angry. "because if this is the after photo that sucks man you should sue," sensei said. "Can we please just change the topic" "you don't think I want to it's right in front of me, if you want to be something other than a nerd with a scar on his lip then you got to flip the script" he replied? As the conversation went on the room got more and more uncomfortable. "get a face tattoo or get out your eye will call you to patch all right no don't do that one you'll still look like a freak" I knew that was the last straw for Eli as he walked away and went to the front to get his stuff and leave. "Oh, great really another quitter" sensei stated looking around the room.
