Chapter 17 Part 2

I was in my room by myself doing some push-ups wow Miguel was outside the house training with Tori everybody had been training like crazy for the past week. It was a Non-Stop, day-to-day grind. For me, it felt like something was coming it was building up to something devastating for everybody. all I knew is that when it came I was going to have to be prepared and ready both physically and mentally. I was almost done with my push-ups when I heard my phone but I was in my pocket. I saw Moon's name and instantly started spacing out. It wasn't until I started hearing the final rings that I not that other chance and finally answered the phone.  "Hello," I said. "Hey wolf long time no see," she said in a happy tone. "I mean yeah sorry about that it's just been really busy with the dojo and wolves" "wait did you just say wolves," she said shocked. "yep it's not important what you call me for," I asked drinking some water. "Well I wanted to come and see if you wanted to come to my party tonight," she said in a nervous tone. "Um, I don't really know last time I went to a party it got pretty intense," I said remembering the canyon party. "Please I'm just inviting a small get-together and I really appreciated it if you came," she said pleading. I thought about it for a moment until I just said screw it. "Sure I'll be there". "Great do you still remember my addresses," she asked. "Well would it be creepy if I said yes," I said cringing. "well no, and yes". "then I'll just drive around town and stumble on your house," I said. she laughed at the joke making me smile. "Well then I'll see you later," she said before hanging up. "Well I guess I'm going to a party," I said before grabbing my towel and heading towards the shower.

I pulled up alongside the road and looked at Moon's house to see a bunch of people already there. "Small get together my ass" I walked inside of the house to see my Cobra Kai people staring across from Miyagi-Do people I walked in the middle and stood on top of a table. "I can already tell what you guys are all thinking, we are not turning this into a war, "I said looking between the two dojos. Miguel and Tori came walking into the room surprised to see Sam and Robby both standing there. "And that especially goes for you four," I said looking at them. Miguel and Tori both walked away leaving the room with an attitude. Moon came walking into the room with a smile on her face. "Wolf, I'm so glad you came, the kegs are out back, drinks are in the kitchen, and the vegan pigs in the blanket just got out of the oven," she said happily. "Yep that's great Moon can we talk for a minute, "I said before grabbing her arm and walking into the kitchen. "Well, it's good to see you still can take charge," she said. "Why the hell would you think inviting Two karate dojos that have a rivalry to a party would be a good idea," I asked, "Well I figured with Summer ending or school starting back up we could stop all the fighting and be friends again," she said in softly. "It's wishful thinking," I said. "Wolf trust me, to get rid of all this negative energy clear your chakras and have fun," she said. "Okay Moon this isn't Naruto, I'm not just going to just go into Sage mode and everything is going to go peaceful around here. They all have egos. And right now just looking at each other makes them want to fight. all of them each of them have blood so what do you think the beer is going to do them it's just going to increase their egos and they're going to have no control over it" I said frantically "look if I know this can get a bit dicey but you just have to trust me on this everything will go fine" she said before walking away.

I was watching some kids from class dance in the middle of the room while the music was playing. It was fun for the most part there was no arguing no fighting just laughter and a bunch of drinking. I myself was able to get a cup of vodka in. I looked at the window to see Sam and Tori on top of stools with one leg while drinking. I sighed and ran outside to see what was happening. While everyone was cheering Sam started to shake like she was about to fall. And of course, Tori started egging her on which made Sam glare at her. They both drank until they both were a bit loopy. "How you doing over there LaRusso," Tori said. "I could do this all night" Sam replied. "are you big red two shots of vodka" Tori ordered. "Sam-" "just give it to me," she said. They both took their cups and Tori drunk hers whole before slamming the cup down triumphantly. Sam started to wobble a little bit before she centered herself and drunk hers. Chubs cheered for Tori before slipping and falling back. I stuck my arms out and caught her before she hit the ground. Sam smiled down and triumph while Tori just glared at her. I set her down and she and Miguel walked away. I just sighed and walked back into the building.

It was nighttime and I was outside taking a break from everyone and their drama. I was sitting alone drinking when I felt a presence next to me. I looked to my right to see Moon sitting next to me. I smiled at her as she sat next to me. "Hey, Wolf you look lonely," she said tilting her head. "no I'm not lonely just...taking a break," I said before finishing my drink. "yeah I sometimes forget even the most patient person in the world has a breaking point," she said. "Well, I haven't reached my breaking point yet I just...I don't know it's complicated" I said. "you want to help everybody, but you also don't want to lose people in the process," she said staring at the moon. I looked at her and smiled. "Exactly". "I admire your determination," she said. "And I'm sorry about how things ended between us," she said. "I already told you, you don't have to apologize," I said looking at her. She looked at me and smiled. I didn't even realize that we started leaning towards each other and just her lips were about to touch she backed up and shook her head. "I'm sorry I don't know what came over me must have had too many drinks," I said. "No it's me I have Piper now and I don't want to ruin that," she said before walking away. I sighed and wiped my face. I got back to my feet and started on my way back towards the house. when I got back inside I walked into the living room to see Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do at each other's throats ready for a battle. I jump in front of me are you go and shove to hook back a little. "This is not happening tonight". "Whose side are you on, Cobra Kai or Miyagi-Do," Hawk asked. I just stood there knowing I couldn't answer him. "guys stop we're friends," Moon said coming into the room. "oh I smell a rumble," Chubs said. Everybody was ready to fight until we heard police sirens outside of the house. Everyone including the dojos started to separate and run it was every person for themself.

I saw mom getting knocked over in the commotion and pass out. I ran over to her and picked her up bridal style. When I saw Piper running towards the door I grabbed her shoulder. "Where the hell are you going," I asked. "The cops are here I'm leaving," she said trying to leave. "So you're just going to abandon moon when she needs you," I said. "You like her so bad you take her I didn't even want to come to this dumb party in the first place," she said before shaking my grip and running out the door. "That motherfu--" I calmed my nerves and headed up towards the stairs. I walked into her room and set her on the bed I turned and locked the door. I picked her back up in my arms and laid in the bathroom tub with Moon on my chest. The lights were off and I could hear the cops searching the house for anybody left. I started to feel Moon stir. And when she fell my chest she was about to scream. I grabbed her mouth and started shushing her. "Don't scream the cops are downstairs" I whispered. I released my hand from her mouth and she growled and slapped me in the chest. "Ow, what the hell did I do," I said confused. "Where are we" she whispered angrily. "we are in your bathroom laying down in the tub, everyone else took off early when they heard the sirens including your girl Piper," I said angrily. It was quiet for a minute and I could hear the cops starting to make their way upstairs. I sucked in a breath I moved around a bit. They knocked on the room door and not either myself word. They knocked a couple more times before heading back downstairs. When I heard the cars leave I sighed with relief. I tried to get up but Moon didn't budge. "Hey moon it's-" "Tell me," she said cutting me off. "So she just up and left me," she asked. I thought about lying to her to make her feel better but the words wouldn't come out. "I tried to stop her but in the end, she left". I felt like shit for having to tell "Good, I won't feel bad by doing this" she said. I felt her shift her body and push her head up to where mine was she wrapped her hands around my face and pulled me into a kiss.
