You and Me

Chapter 43

Omar's POV

This vacation has been great! I'm glad that she invited me to come and that she didn't invite Calvin. I can't stand to see him be around my girlfriend. Just looking at him makes me sick. I'm afraid that Addy will leave me for him. I can't have that, I won't allow that.

Addy and I have been having some arguments lately and most of them are my fault. Today I thought I'd take her on a date to the park. We cold have a picnic. Just the two of us walking hand-in-hand talking, laughing, and just enjoying each other's company. I'm going to make sure I don't loose her especially because school ends in less than two weeks. I need to have this school year end well before we are separated into different schools next year.

I looked at the time and saw that it was already 12:30 PM. Wow that party must've made me really tired since I usually wake up at 9 and jog. I got out of bed and changed into a new pair of shorts and a new shirt. Then I put on on my red Nikes and plugged in my earphones to my iPhone. Then slipped it into my pocket. I jogged down the steps to the first floor and went into the kitchen to eat a banana before going on my run at the beach. No one was in there so I quickly ate my banana and went through the back door.

While I was on my jog I thought about everything that has happened this past (half) year at Willow Creek. First I move to a new state . Then I go on a little tour around Willow Creek where I first met Addy. I've liked her since that day at school when her and her friends showed me around and told me some tips. Then I find out I live next to one of her best friends who brings us a bunch of sweets and is funny and nice. I become friends with all of her friends like Maddie, who's also funny and nice, Yolo's funny and kind, Cam awesome,funny, and Brandy funny and weird. They all helped me get Addy to be mine and I can't thank them enough. I'll never forget our first date and how we had such a great time. Of course all of this just leads me back to saying Calvin will never get Addy because she is mine...... I love her. I need to apologize to her.

When I got back to the house I ran up to my room took a quick shower, changed into some clean clothes, and went into Cam's room. He was sitting on his bed talking to Ciara who was sitting on the floor.

" Hey Omar," Ciara greeted with a smile.

" Hey, sorry didn't meant to barge in all of a sudden."

" It's fine. We were just talking to kill some time," Cam said.

" Oh okay. Well I need to talk to you about something." and with that Ciara stood up.

" I guess I'll leave you guys alone then," she said walking towards the door.

" Actually I'll need your advice on somethings too Ciara."

She turned and looked at me with a confused look but still went to sit on the ground again while I took a seat next to Cam.

" Okay, I think I have an idea of what you're going to talk about," Ciara said with a small smile.

" Oh really? But I didn't even say a word about what I was going to talk about, but go ahead and take a guess," I respond with a questioning look.

" She's going to get it right, no doubt about it," Cam said trying to hold back his smile.

" Yeah right. Let's just see how close she'll get to the real answer," I looked at her giving her a signal to go on.

She rolled her eyes and gave a little smirk. "You want to plan a date to apologize to Addy because of the recent arguments you guys are having."

" And she got it right," I mumbled.

" Ha, I knew it," Cam exclaimed jumping up from his bed and pointing at me.

" Okay, anyway. Yes,that is what I'm planning but I'm not sure my idea for the date is good enough."

" Well tell us your ideas and we'll see if it needs some adjustments or not," Ciara said, Cam nodding his head in agreement.

" I think it's a great idea!!" Ciara exclaimed quickly covering her mouth and poking her head out the door to see if anyone was out there.

" Good, I wasn't sure if it was a good idea."

" I like it too. Is it going to be a surprise or are you just going to tell her that you're taking her out?" asked Cam.

" I think it should be a surprise. Ciara I need you to distract Addy until I text you that it's time. Cam you'll help me set up everything. Oh and make sure Yolo and Maddie are with you. I'll get Brandy to help us so Addy think she'll have a day with the girls while we have a guy day," I explained everything to the both of them and then went into action.

The three of us walked into the movie room where the rest of the group were sitting down watching iCarly.

" Come on girls, we're going to have a girls day out!" Ciara said cheerfully said pulling in Maddie and Addy's arm whole giving Yolo the get-off-your-lazy-butt-now-or-else state which fortunately got her to jump off the couch.

" Where are we going?" Addy asked ignoring my staring. Did I forget to mention that we kind of...maybe... Did have a huge argument last night when we got back from the concert? No? Well now you know.

" Just get dressed and meet me in the kitchen in 20 minutes," Ciara said skipping up the the stairs to her own room. When all the girls went to their rooms Cam and I informed Brandy of what was going on and he agreed to help us (as if he had a choice.) We all got ready and left the house to head to the store to buy some things.

Addy's Pov

I just finished putting on my black converse. Ciara is making all the girls go hot for a " girls day out" when I just want to stay in the house and bawl my eyes out. Omar and I have been arguing for a while now and last night we had a huge argument. I can't even look him at him yet I miss him. I miss his smile, his eyes, just everything about him I miss. Argh Addy, just forget about him for the rest of the day and you'll be fine.

Ciara ✌️- Come into the kitchen now! Everyone else is ready, we're just waiting for you

Me - I'll be down in a sec

Ciara ✌️ - okay, hurry

I slid my phone into my pocket, looked at my reflection one last time, and sighed before turning off my light and closing the door behind me. I went down into the kitchen seeing Ciara, Maddie, and Yolo on their phones. Ciara looked up and smiled.

" Okay well since everyone is ready let's go!" Ciara said heading towards the door.

" Where are we going?" I asked.

" Why we are going to the mall my dear. We need some summer outfits," I sighed while shaking my head.

" Okay, well how are we going to get there? If you haven't noticed my parents aren't here and we have no way to get there."

" Ever heard of a taxi?" Yolo teased.

" Ha ha ha very funny Yolo. Of course I've heard of a taxi before. If you don't remember I did move from New York about more than a year ago," I say rolling my eyes.

" Come on guys the taxi's here!" Maddie yelled before entering the taxi.

" What? How did-" I started.

" While you two were goofing off Maddie called for a cab," Ciara said laughing.

" Oh okay, well let's go!"
