Chapter 19

Maddie's pov

Right now we are at the mall shopping. We split into two groups, girls and boys. We decided to meet each other in the food court in 2 hours. Addy's mom said she would come with us after we eat at the food court. First Ciara,Addy,Yolo,and I went to Forever 21. I didn't see anything I waited for everyone else. Ciara got a couple shirts, same with Yolo, and Addy bought some shorts. We then went to JC penny, I got a bunch of stuff there that I can't name all of them.

" Haha wow Maddie I didn't think you would buy all that stuff " Ciara said. I roll my eyes and laugh.

" Hey when I see something I want I get it. You know me" I say.

" True, haha I remember when you and Cam were arguing over hot cheetos in 6th grade and our La/Lit teacher got you guys on video because he was making a cool tool"

" Haha oh yea, it was a hard battle but I finally got it" I say with pride. Ciara laughed.

" Maddie aren't you forgetting something?" I gave her a confused look.

" Cam won and he shared with you haha" she said.

" Hey you know I'm not strong but I still say mission accomplished 'cause I still got cheetos" we both laugh.Yolo and Addy walked to is and we checked the time. It was 5:00 and we had to meet everyone at the good court in 15 minuets. Addy's mom called and told us we wouldn't leave until like 10 since the ride home was only a hour away.

We walked out of the store and to the food court. When we finally got there we saw everyone sitting at a table. Cam and Brandy were on their phones. We put all our bags down and took a seat.

" Hi, did you girls buy any good stuff?" Addy's mom asked.

" Yes" we all say.

" Okay good, now everyone go get your food and then we'll go to other stores. Addy's dad will go with the boys and I will go with you girls"

" Okay" we all say with a smile. Her mom is really nice and she's funny to. She even picks our outfits sometimes, and does our hair. Her dad is nice and funny to. He became close with all of us and he plays soccer with us. The boys and him even went on a "boys day out."

We ate our food talking about the last day of school which was coming up in like a month. We still have to do one more clip of our reading project and then Ciara has to edit it but we still have two weeks.

*3 hours later*

We finally arrived back to the house after a long time at the mall. I went to my room and tries to fit all my stuff I bought into my suitcase, it didn't really work out. I still had 3 bags that wouldn't fit but it wasn't that bad I guess. Ciara walked into my room and smiled.

"Hey" she said.

"Hey" I say back.

"Well today was fun and I don't think Addy thought of Alex since we went to the beach which is good"

"Yeah I think she had a lot of fun, so are you excited about graduating eight grade and going on to high school?" I asked.

" Yeah, it's our last year at Willow Creek before going to high school"

" Wow I can't believe it, it still feels like we are in 2nd grade learning how to write in cursive in Ms.Bruick's classroom"

"Haha yeah, I remember when we had to wear our snow gear because we were pretending to go to the moon and we ate that dried ice cream." We spent a little bit just talking about stuff in elementary school and how much things have changed. It was 9:45 when Addy's parents told us to put our stuff in the van. I had some trouble because I wasn't that strong, I really need to work out some more.... nah maybe in like 2 years haha. We got in the van and started heading back home.
