Chapter 17

Addy's pov

We are all in the van heading to this fancy restaurant that my parents had reservations at. We look very fancy as in VERY. The girls wearing really nice dresses while the boys are wearing a tux. I wonder what restaurant we're going to? The ride was pretty quiet, too quiet. My parents were talking to each other while everyone else were either on their phones, looking out the window, or giving each other looks. Is there something that I'm missing here?

Oh well. Oh yeah I bet your wondering about that person who texted me a couple days ago. Well she texted me again two days ago saying that if I don't leave this person alone she'll hurt me. I got really scared, I texted her asking who she was talking about but she never texted back. Right then my phone made a sound so I checked and saw a text from the mystery person.

Unknown- Don't act like u don't know! Just stay away from him, he's mine and only mine!!

My eyes grew wide at that text. Is she talking about Alex? No maybe this person is just crazy, yeah that it's she's crazy. I just turned my phone off and laid my head on the head rest. I shouldn't worry about this now. I should just have fun with my friends because in a couple days we will be going back to school.

25 minutes later we arrived to our destination. The name of the restuarant was so fancy that I couldn't even pronounce it. Once we entered my mouth dropped opened, it was huge!! Tables were everywhere and chandeliers. The lights were glowing that made it seem that the restaurant was just from a fairytale. The person showed us to our table that had a view of the ocean. I sat in between Maddie and Ciara, while Alex was across from me. Alex and I haven't been hanging out that much, he's been distant lately. I wonder if something is bugging him.

We ordered our food ate then just talked while the waiter was getting the check.

" So are you guys ready to go back to school in a couple days?" My mom asked.

" No! I bet we're going to have a bunch of homework due to the little 'misunderstanding' that caused us to have this long vacation." Said Cam.

" Yeah I don't want a lot of homework and speaking of that, we still need to finish our movie" Maddie said.

" Don't worry to much about the movie we only have one more scene then we're done, not including all the editing of course" Ciara joined in.

"Who's editing?" I asked.

"I will" Ciara replied. I nodded and then we talked about some other stuff. We finally went back home and my parents went right to bed while everyone else went to change and head to the movie room to spend time together before we head back home. I got changed then headed down the stairs to watch a movie.

Everybody was already then sitting on the couch well everybody but Alex. They all looked nervous as if they were going to tell me bad news.

" Hey what's wrong you guys look nervous" I say. Ciara looked at Maddie, who looked at Cam, who looked at Yolo, who looked at Brandy. I have them a confused look.

" Uh Addy we need to tell you something" Cara said.

" Okay" I say while sitting beside her.

" Look this is really hard to say but before we came here I saw something that wasn't good." Ciara began.

" I was walking around the neighborhood by myself 'cuz you were sick and everyone else was busy, I stopped at the park and sat on the swings, then I saw two people at the bench talking and laughing" she took a breathe and continued.

" I saw that it was Alex and the 'popular girl' from school names Charissa. I know you don't know her but she is the meanest girl in school so yeah, Alex had his arm around her waist and then made her laugh. They started making out and I got up to leave but he saw me. We had an 'argument' and said that he liked both of you and that was it. I just walked away after that" She finished her story. I was already in tears. My boyfriend has cheated on me and I just found out he might not even like me anymore. I'm heart broken, no I wasn't falling in love with him but I really really like him.

Everybody was giving me hugs and telling me that he wasn't worth it, I decided to talk to Alex to make things clear. I wiped my eyes and stood up to talk to Alex. I knock on his door. He said to come in but before I did I took a deep breathe.
