Addy's p.o.v
It's Monday morning and it's very nice out. The sun is shining,grass is gleaming, and the neighbors are getting out of their houses for a new day to begin. I'm in my room getting ready for the first day at my new school Willow Creek. I have dark brown hair that's up to my shoulders,brown eyes, and I also have glasses but I barely use them.
My mom called me to eat my breakfast
but I told her I wasn't hungry because I was so nervous. She comes up stairs and asks " You nervous about school?"
I look at her and say "I don't want to go!!" "I'm always the new kid and I won't have any friends,people are gonna stare at me because we moved from New York City."
"Honey no one is going to make fun of you and I'm sure you'll make many friends"
I was just staring at the wall knowing that once I make friends I will have to leave them again. But then my mom told me something that made me very happy.
"Addy I know being in a military family is hard but to tell you the truth we won't be moving for a long time :), Your father has decided to take a break and spend time with us."
I smiled and hugged her so hard thanking her over and over again.
