Chapter 11

2 weeks later

Addy's pov

It's my fourteenth birthday today!!! I was really excited because my family made a huge birthday party planned for me. It was going to be at a beach with a board walk that has a bunch of rides. All my friends will be going including Alex. We have been hanging out a lot lately and he is always planning out sweet dates for us , sometimes we just walk around the neighborhood and head to the parks to sit on the swings.

I look at my clock and it was already 10:45. I got out if bed and changed into my light blue swim suit, then I put on a sundress and head downstairs for breakfast. My mom and dad say happy birthday and gave me birthday pancakes with bacon on the side.

" I can't believe my little girl is a teenager now" my mom says with tears beginning to form.

" Aw mom don't worry, I'll always be your little girl." I say without laughing because of the way she was talking.

" Come on we have to get going to the beach now it's already 11:30 and we have to get to the beach by 1:00." My dad says

So we get all of out stuff and get in he car. The beach we were going wasn't that far so we didn't need to be stuck in the car for a bunch if hours. I just put my earphones in and listened to music and fell asleep.

I woke up right when we arrived at the beach. I was so excited to go swimming with all of my friends, my parents have rented a summer house here so we'll be staying for the whole week (our school is on a little vacation because of some issues), and when I say we'll I mean everyone who is coming today. We got everything out of the car and headed inside the house. I set everything on the floor and looked around, the place was huge. There are about 4 floors. The basement was very big and it turned out to be kind of a sports room because it had a net,basketball hoop and a bunch of sports equipment. Then I went to the next floor which had the kitchen, dinning room,living room, a bedroom, and bathroom attached to the bedrooms. After that I went upstairs to the third floor. I walked up and saw that it was a like a little movie room. There was a large couch , a large flat screen tv, bean bag chairs, and about three large cabinets filled with different movies. I also noticed that there was three more bedrooms here, similar to the ones downstairs. I finally made it to the last floor. It was basically where the rest of the rooms were but there was a glass wall showing the beach right behind the house. There was a little space that had a couple chairs and a couch, I'm guessing it's so we can watch the sun set.

I went down to get my bags again and started looking for the room I would stay in. I picked one on the top floor because I wanted to see the sun set. The room I picked was pretty big, the walls were all light blue and I had the view of the ocean. There was also a walk in closet and a bathroom in my room, the bed was pretty big to and there was a desk. I unpacked everything and went back down to wait for my friends.

I got a text from saying that she would arrive with Maddie,Cam,and Yolo in 10 minutes and I also got a text from Alex that he would be here in 15 minutes. I closed my phone and just say on the couch watching tv waiting for everyone.
