Chapter 5

I woke up the next morning by the sound if my alarm from my phone. It was 6:30 and I saw a few messages.

2 from Ciara, 1 from Maddie, and 1 from Yolo. Before I looked at my messages I took a quick shower and curled my hair. I wore some nice blue jeans and a t-shirt that said believe. I got my phone and went downstairs for some breakfast, there was a not from my parents that said they were going to be at work for a while. I grabbed a bowl and out cereal and milk. While I was eating I opened my messages from the girls, they were all 13 already but my birthday was in 2 weeks so I'm really excited for that. Any way back to my phone. I decided to open Ciara's messages first.

Ciara Bear- hey addy!! We were all thinking to meet up at my place after school again to start filming and then tomorrow we could all go to the movies and you could meet Brandt.

Ciara Bear (message 2) - oh and I need to tell you something at school

I replied saying that I would go to her house right after school with her and the other and that I was free tomorrow. I was really curious about what she needed to tell me but I guess I just needed to wait for a couple more hours. I then looked at Yolo's message.

Yolo the cool😎- hey , u coming to the movies with us tomorrow?

Once again I replied just saying yea and asking her what movie we were gonna watch. She texted back saying we were gonna watch the Fault in our stars. I didn't text back after that I just went to see Maddie's message. Oh and she's is very in love with Magcon but her favorite is Matthew Espinosa.

Maddie Espinosa😍- Heyyyy addyyy idk if Ciara told you already but there is some big news we need to tell you. C ya l8r✌️

Okay now I'm really curios about what they needed to tell me but it was 7:40 now so I headed out the door to my bus stop. I lived by Cameron so we talked for a while.

"Hey" he said

"Hi!" I say back

"So how are you liking Willow Creek Middle School so far?"

"I like it a lot, I've made so many friends that are the best!" I smiled and

He smiled back.

It was silent and then he broke it by asking me something.

" Addy do you like anybody in your math class"

I was shocked I didn't know what to say. Should I tell him about Omar or just keep it to myself before I made up my mind my mouth opened and said yes. I don't know why but it just did.

He asked me who and at that time I was hesitating. Cam was a really sweet guy and I knew I could tell him anything. So I told him the whole thing and he listened the whole entire time. He understood everything and told me that he thought Omar liked me to. The bus arrived and we got on. About 10 minuets later we got off the bus and went are separate ways to head to our lockers.

I got to my locker and when I opened it there was something inside.

Ciara's pov (before school)

I came to school early today because Maddie and I were helping Mr.Duddly (the band teacher) with some stuff. I went out of the band room to get something from my locker and stopped midway. I saw a figure walking really fast so I followed him. He his hoodie I so I couldn't see his face. Two minutes passed and he stopped in front of addy's locker. I don't know how but he got the locker to open even though we had special locks. I saw him put a note and a box of chocolate in and closed it once again. I was hiding in a corner by a vending machine and once the guy turned around I couldn't believe my eyes. It was Alex.

Luckily he didn't see me, he ran to the gym I assumed that he had a early soccer practice since they had a game tonight. I walked back to the band room forgetting the thing I was going to get. Maddie knew I was thinking about something so she walked over to me.

"What's wrong cad?" (Cad is my nickname because one of our band teachers last year said we were on person and combined out names to caddie)

"It's nothing" I have her a fake smile but of course she didn't believe me. She gave me a 'don't even try it' look, so I had no choice but to tell her.

After I told her the story she seemed shocked not only because she thought it was cute but because her and Alex are cousins and she knew almost everything. She said we needed to asked Addy about her feelings about him so we could play 'match maker'.

We finished up what we were doing in the band room and headed out to meet Addy at her locker. Maddie and I got there as Addy opened her locker so we stopped and his behind a corner to her reaction.
