Chapter 13

"I'll give you until the end of the trip to find out who you really like, If you don't pick one by then then I'll tell Addy everything I saw today"

He looked shocked at first but then nodded his head. Before he could say anything else I turned my back at him and walked home.

* END OF FLASHBACK*

I didn't know that I was spaced out for so long because when I finally got out to my senses the movie was already half way over. Everyone else was staring at the screen, everyone but Maddie. Uh oh.... Maddie was staring right at me. She doesn't know about what happened but I know that she thinks something is wrong. She opened her mouth and mouthed "what's wrong". I just nodded my head side to side hoping she would leave it at that, but of course she didn't.

Maddie's pov

I was trying to concentrate on the movie but I just couldn't. I look at Ciara and see that she was just staring at the ground. I've known her since 2nd grade. When ever she is thinking about something that is bothering her she looks at the ground. I decided to go check on her but Cam notices to and asked me why Ciara looked a little down before I could even get off the couch.

" Maddie what's wrong with Ciara?" He asks

" I don't know, but what I do know is that something is bothering her."

" Should we go over and check on her?"

" Yeah I think so but let's talk to her before we go to sleep."

" Okay"

We looked back at the screen and finished up the movie. The movie was over and everybody was going to their rooms now. Addy and Alex were the first to go to their rooms and Cara was about to go to hers but Cam and I stopped her.

" Ciara what's up, you've been quiet during the whole movie." I asked

She just shrugged and avoided eye contact.

" Ciara tell us what's bothering you, we all know that your hiding something." says Cam. She still avoided eye contact but finally spoke up.

" I-I just can't tell you, at least not yet."

" Ciara just tell us!!! You never act like this unless it's something really bad!" I say. She finally looked at both of us in the eyes and let out a large sigh.

" Okay Okay I'll tell you." Cam and I sat next to her, she was in the middle while I was on the left and Cam on the right.

" Well it was a couple days before we came here, Addy was sick that day and everyone else was busy so I went on a walk around the neighbor hood. I made it to the park and sat on the swing after a while I heard two people talking and sitting on the bench." She stopped for a moment then continued. " Then I saw them clearly it was Alex and Charissa. Alex was making her laugh and had his arm around her waist then they started kissing I got off the swing and started walking away before they could see me." I was shocked that Alex would do that since he told us how much he likes Addy or should I say liked?

" Alex saw me though he stopped me and I guess you can say we got into an 'argument', I told him that I was going to tell Addy about what I saw but he stopped me saying that he does like her but he likes Charissa to." She rolled her eyes at the last part. I was about to say something but she continued saying the story. " I then told him that by the end of this trip he would have to choose who he wants and with that I walked away."

It was quiet for a couple minutes but Cam broke it.

" So what are we gonna do? We can't just keep it a big secret, Addy would find out anyway even if we didn't tell her anything."

" Ciara I know you said Alex will have until the end of the week but I a agree with Cam she would just find out later. Besides I think it's better if she heard from us NOW then from a random person later." I said

" Yeah I guess your right but when?"

" We'll talk about that tomorrow right now we should go to bed and sleep it's already 1 in the morning." Cam said.

"Kay good night" I say.

And with that Ciara and I went upstairs to our rooms while Cam went to his. I laid on the bed and drifted off to sleep thinking about what we will do with Addy and Alex.
