Chapter 24

Addy's pov

It was Omar and his family. He was holding his little sister while his older brother was on his phone.

" Hi, come on in" I say to all of them moving to the side so they can get through. My mom then walks out if the kitchen to greet them.

" Melissa, I'm glad to see you again! It's been so long" my mom says while hugging his mom.

"It's nice to see you too, you remember my eldest son Nick right?"

" Yes of course, He's grown so much since the last time I saw him. Hi nick I'm not sure if you remember me since you were only 2 the last time you saw me"

" Hi and I remember you always coming over and talking to my mom" he says with a smile.

" Hi I'm Omar" he said shyly, awe how cute.... wait what??

" Hi there I'm Sarah" she says sticking her hand out to shake. Omar put his sister down and shook her hand.

" And who's this little cutie?" my mom asked.

" This is Maggie and she is 3 years old" Melissa said. All this time I was standing by the door watching them.

" Well I guess it my turn to introduce my kids. Come here" my mom said gesturing me towards her. I walk in front of her and she puts her hand on my shoulders.

" This is my daughter Addy and I also have a 3 year old son" (A/N sorry I didn't add her brother earlier, but just pretend I introduced him and that he was at his grandparents place during Addy's 14th bday.)

" Nice to see you again Addy, weird how we keep seeing each other today" Melissa says with a little laugh.

" What you've met her already, how?"

" Oh the group and I showed Omar and his mom around school today and he also moved next to Ciara so we gave them some desserts" I explain to my mom while she nods her head. Then my little brother Mason runs in and hugs my legs.

" ADDY!"

" Hi there buddy" I say whole picking him up.

" Here is my other child Mason" my mom says. They talk for a little but more and then we finally go to the kitchen. I say by Omar and Mason. We talked about school and the places we lived in. Then we went to the living room to watch a movie.

" Addy can you get a bottle of wine from the basement?" my dad asks from the kitchen.

" Sure, I'll be right back Omar"

" It's ok I'll come with you"

"No it's ok you can just wait-"

" I'm going with you and that's final" he said cutting me off.

Omar's pov

Addy and I are in the basement getting something for the parents. I stand behind her while she opens a cabin full of bottles.

" Whoa" I say.

" My uncle owns a place where they make wine" she said whole smiling. Her smile is so cute. Wait what.... Do I like Addy? My thoughts were interrupted by Addy speaking to me.

" Okay let go back up now, I'm getting a little chilly" she said.

I nodded my head and followed her up the stairs. The rest of the night we just played video games, she is probably one of the only girls I met that plays Call of duty and is actually good at it. My brother hung out with us to while the little ones were upstairs playing whatever they were playing.

After a couple hours later my mom called us because we were leaving. I got up and went to my family that were already by the door.

" Thank you very much for dinner and the great night" my mom said.

" Oh no problem, it was fun seeing you again and kids you are welcome to come over anytime" Sarah said. We said our goodbyes but before I walked out the door Addy grabbed my hand. I turned around to face her.

" Hey um since you just moved in today I was wondering if you wanted me to show you around town with a couple of my other friends tomorrow?" she asked shyly. I smiled at her and said I would love to. We exchanged numbers and I walked to my car.

Once we arrived home I ran to my room changed, got in bed and texted Addy.

Me- Hey Addy, it's Omar

After about 3 minuets I heard a notification.

Addy😉- oh hey Omar 😄

Me- what's up

Addy😉- nm just in bed... hbu

Me- same, so what time should I be ready tomorrow?

Addy😉- 10:30, and I think I might pass out any second now so I'll txt ya tomorrow good night

Me- okay night

After that I put my phone away and go to sleep. Maybe moving here isn't such a bad thing after all.
