You and Me

Chapter 7

*still Addy's pov*

I woke up at 10:00 and remembered that I was going to the movies with everyone and meeting a guy named Brandy. I've heard that Brandy was nice, funny, weird, and crazy so I guess it was kinda exciting to meet him. I looked at my phone and saw a couple messages. 1 from Maddie, 1 from Cam, and 1 from Ciara. I opened all of them.

Maddie Espinosa😍- Hey meet us at the theater at 12:30. Movie starts at 1:00😄.

Me- hey and k I will👌

Ciara Bear- hey after the movie wanna come to my place to hang? 😬

Me- yea sure! My parents r at work anyway so I would've been stuck at home by myself.

Ciara Bear- K c ya later!

Cam- hey need a ride to the movies?

Me- yea if that's okay with u

Cam- it's fine, my mom and I will pick you up 12:20

Me- k

It was already 10:30 so I got up and picked out some clothes before I took a shower. I wore some black jeans, a pink shirt, and my 1 Direction sweatshirt. I love 1 Direction!!! I walked to my bathroom took a shower, put on my clothes, and curled my hair. When I finally finished getting ready it was 11:00.

I went downstairs to get some breakfast. I made myself some pancakes and bacon. I finished and went back up stairs to just lay on my bed. I went on Instagram and posted a picture of me,Coara,Maddie,Yolo,and Cam at the park in our costumes. Then I remembered that Alex gave me his number so I texted him.

Me- hey

I got an instant reply from him.

Alex ✌️- hey I had a great time with you yesterday!

Me- yea! Me 2

Alex✌️- u wanna hang out again today?

Me- Sorry I can't I'm going 2 the movies then hanging out with Ciara😅 maybe next time

Alex ✌️- oh okay and yea sure. Well I gtg txt ya later

Me- k bye

It was now 12:10 , so I decided to head back downstairs and put on my pink converse. Then I went outside and just sat on my front porch waiting for Cam and his mom. I decided to log in to kik and see if I had any messages from my friends back in NY. Once I logged in I saw a bunch of messages. They all said they missed me and how they wanted to see me soon. Before I could reply to all of my friends Cam's car rolled up in the drive way. I walked over and Cam opened the door for me. His mom introduces herself and said that she was happy that he made a good friend like me. We arrived at the theater and got out of the car. Cam's mom said goodbye and drove off.

Everybody else was there already including Brandy. We introduced ourselves and bought our tickets. We got some popcorn, candy, and drinks then went off to watch the movie. I was at the very end close to the staircase. The order we were sitting was me, Maddie, Ciara, Yolo, Cam, and Brandy. We were all talking and on our phones until the movie finally started.

The movie ended and I had tears in my eyes. We got up and left the theater, we decided to walk to Taco Bell before we went home. It was about 4:30 when we finished eating. Ciara and I waited for her dad to pick us up. He came and after a couple minutes we arrived at her house. We decided to head to her room and just talk.

Ciara's pov

Addy and I walked up to my room to talk and I already knew what we were going to talk about first. We sat on my bed and that's when I was gonna ask her my question until my phone started ringing. I looked at who was calling and saw who it was . I didn't really want to take the call so I just sent them a message saying I would call them later. Then I went back to what I was going to say.

"So Addy, what did Alex tell you that he needed to get out so badly?"

She was smiling a lot now so I knew that it was going to be good.

"Well" she started, " It was great, he bought me a milk shake and then we went to the park."

I stared at her giving her look to tell her to keep on going and it must've worked cuz then she continued.

"Then when were walking home we sat at a bench and stared at the sky, He then told me that he like me and I told him I liked him." She was getting really red now. " and yea but overall it was just an amazing night"

I couldn't help but to just say aaawwweee. What can I say I'm a sucker for a cute love story :-P. After we talked for a while I asked Addy if she wanted to sleep over, she said sure but that she would have to drop by her house to pick up a few things. Her mom picked her up and said that they would come back before 6:30.

Addy's pov

I was in my room pick up a few things and when I mean few I mean a lot. I got my pj's, blue jeans, a purple shirt with a butterfly on it and my old school sweatshirt. Then I packed my toothbrush, towel, extra shoes, phone charger, and a book (sometimes I stay up and read myself to sleep). Once I got everything I told my mom I was ready and she drove me back to Ciara's house.

I was about to get out of the car but my mom stopped me. I gave her a confused look and then I saw her with big smile on her face.

" I just wanted to tell you how happy it makes me to see you with your friends, they are all so nice and it seems like they always make you smile"

" They do always make me smile, it's like they are my family now and I would do anything for them" I smiled back at her and she told me to have a good time.

She drove off leaving me standing on the driveway. I was really excited cuz this was my first sleepover since I moved, I rang the doorbell and waited.
