Chapter 41

Maddie's POV

I'm in my room putting my stuff away. I'm so excited because later on we're going to a concert not so far. I'm glad we got to come here to spend time with each other before school ends. I know what your thinking. Won't you guys be able to spend time together during summer vacation? Well it might be harder then it seems. My family and Ciara's family are going to a trip to Europe for like a month. Cam's family is going to Florida for a couple weeks. Yolo's going to Guatemala for a couple weeks and Addy will be going to Mexico to see her family. We'll still have the last month of summer to spend time together so that's good. But I will miss having the whole group together.

" Hey," Cam said entering my room.

" Hey," I say back.

" Did you need something?" I asked.

" I just wanted to know when we're going to the concert."

" I was going to ask the same thing."

Both Cam and I turned around to see the person who said that.

" Oh Yolo, you scared me," I said.

" Sorry," she said with a small smile.

" Well I'm not sure, but I know Cam will go ask Ciara when we're going," I say knowing he's going to complain at first and the agree to ask.

" Why do I have to do it?" He whined.

" Because you're closer to the door."

" Yolo's right in front of it!" He exclaimed.

" Pleasssseee," both Yolo and I whined.

" Fine, I'll go"

A couple minutes later Cam came back with a concerned face on his look. I gave him a look that said what-the-heck-happened?

Yolo's POV

" So, what do you think they'll play at the concert?" I asked.

" I'm not sure. But I do know that they'll be a bunch of people. Who knows maybe you'll find someone you like," Maddie said with a smirk.

" Shut up," I said turning very red.

" Okay okay. Do you think everything will be alright during this trip? I mean with all that drama that happened last year, aren't you scared that they'll be another terrible event?"

" Well to be honest I haven't thought about that until now. I think we'll be fine. Omar is different, we can all agree on that, But it's a good different."

" Yeah, he is better than Alex," Right after Maddie finished that sentence Cam came in with a concerned look on his face.

" What's up? Why do you look so concerned all of a sudden?" I ask standing up from the bed.

" I think it's better if all go to Ciara's room," Cam replied with a small voice, as if he spoke any louder the whole house will crumble into a billion pieces that won't be able to be put back together.

" Why? Can't you ju-"

" Just get up and follow me if you want to find out already!" He whisper-yelled.

Cam's POV

I was right in front of Ciara'a door until I heard crying. Is she crying? Well obviously she is because there's no one else in there but her. Sometimes I just don't think before I make a conclusion. I peeked through the little crack and saw Cara on her bed, her knees to her chest and head down weeping. What's going on? Why is she crying? I decided that it would be better if Yolo, Maddie, and I all went in together. Addy, Omar, and Brandy went out to show Omar around a little since he wasn't here the last time we came.

I walked into Maddie's room and looked at them with a concerned. I guess Yolo noticed because she stood
up from the bed.

" What's up? Why do you look so concerned all of a sudden?" She asked.

" I think it's better if all go to Ciara's room," I replied with a quiet voice.

" Why? Can't you ju-"

" Just get up and follow me if you want to find out already!" I whisper-yelled getting annoyed that they didn't get the hint that this was very important.

Yolo and Maddie turned to face each other, gave each other confused looks, and then looked back at me with a small nodded that said they were ready. When we stopped in front of Cara's room and I turned to the two girls and put my finger up to my lips as a sign to be quiet.

She was still crying. It wasn't as much as before, but it was still a lot. You can hear how hard she's trying to control her breathing. She could barely calm down and she was in the same position she was in earlier. The three of us opened the door quietly, snuck in, and all went towards Ciara. Maddie put her arm around Ciara giving her a small a hug while Yolo and I held one of her hands. She looked up and we finally got to see her face. She was filled with sadness,anger,confusion, but most of all..... pain. What has happened to our dear friend?

I'm trying hard to update but I don't have a lot of free time due to a lot of work I have to do since I missed a lot of school and activities.
