Chapter 21

Ciara's Pov

Addy and I went to our first class which was math. Addy was sitting on my left not dating to look to the right because of Alex. Alex sat in his seat and looked at Addy with a disappointing look. He was going to say something to me but I just turned my head to the front of the room. Cam, Maddie, Yolo, Brandy, and I promised that we wouldn't get in the middle of it. as don't want to be apart if it since both of them are our friends, well most of us anyway. Maddie and Alex have been arguing lately so that's not helping. I just hope everything will go well.

"Okay class, we will be working on a project for the next couple of days and I have put you into groups of 4" Mrs.Roeder said.

" In this project you will have to work as a team. Ok so I put different math problems around the whole school that you have to answer and every question you get right you gut a item that you need to help you. Once you get all the objects you must use all of them to make a 'menu' of a restaurant. make sure you include the prices and that it has color"

Well this should be interesting I thought to myself. She went down the list of the groups. She finally got to the group I was in.

"Ciara, Addy, Brandy, and Alex will be a team" she said. Uh oh this isn't going to be good. I look at Addy and her eyes were wide and then I look at Alex he didn't really have a reaction he was just staring at the front if the room. Class ended and we all excited to go to 2nd period which was la/lit. Addy hasn't said anything yet, I hope she's alright.

Once we enter the classroom I gave our movie to the teacher and then we sat at our usual seats. Cam in front with Addy and Yolo next to him, and me, Maddie, and our friend Taylor behind them. Mr.White said that we'll just be watching the movies today so we could sit anywhere we want. Maddie and I moved our chairs up next to Addy's table. Our little movie was first, I hope everyone likes it.

*end of class*

Today's class was great. A bunch of people like our movie and the other one were really good too! We were all going to our 3rd class now which was science. We are dissecting worms today, Addy still hasn't said a word. I stopped her in the middle of the hall since we had some extra time because of a short noticed meeting the teachers had to attend.

" Hey Addy what's wrong? You haven't said anything since Mrs.Roeder told us our groups in math" I said. She just look at me and shrugged. "Addy I know you're not comfortable with Alex in the group but you can't ignore him forever. We need to work as a team so please just try to get along with him"

" I just can't speak to him yet. I won't talk to him but I will listen and do some of the things he tells me to do. the only people I will talk to is you and Brandt okay?" she said. I nodded and we started heading to the science lab.

Maddie's pov

Cam,Yolo,and I were already in the science lab. We had to wait for about 30-45 minutes because the teacher had a meeting to go to, so for the mean time we just have to stay in the classroom and wait. Ciara and Addy still weren't here yet I wonder why.

" Have you guys noticed that Addy was really quiet in La/Lit today?" Cam asked.

" Yeah she's never that quiet" Yolo said.

" I wonder what happened, we'll have to ask Ciara when they get here" I say.

About 10 minutes later Ciara and Addy came and went to their seats. Ciara and I sat next to each other, then in front of us was Yolo and Cam and behind us was Addy and Brandt. Addy said she needed to use the bathroom so it was the perfect time to ask Ciara. I guess Yolo and Cam were thinking the same thing because they both turned their chairs so they were facing us.

" Ciara what's up with Addy? she's been really quiet today" I say.

Ciara sighed and started to explain why Addy was not in a good mood.

" Well today in class our teacher told us we were going to be having this project and she put us into groups. She's not really happy about the groups because Alex is in it. She told me that the only people she will talk to is me and Brandy, she'll listen to Alex but she just won't talk talk to him"

"Oh" was all I could say. It was silent after that, I sighed and took my phone out just looking at twitter and stuff like that. Ciara was listening to music on her phone. Addy finally came back, she sat in her seat and just read a book. I tapped Ciara's shoulder and she looked at me removing one if her earphones.

" What are we going to do about them?" I asked emphasizing the word them.

" I don't think we should do anything yet. It's only been a couple if days since you know what, they both just need a little more time and if they still don't talk to each other by then end if the school year then we'll see what we can do" I nodded and we just started talking about other stuff.

* End of school*

Addy's pov

Today was not a good day for me. Everyone was trying to talk to me but I would just stay quiet, I didn't want to be ride but I just didn't want to talk to anyone. I walked home by myself today, it was nice out. The sun was shining, sky was blue, and the little kids were outside playing and riding their bikes.

I got home and decided to do my homework in the front porch since it was such I nice day out. First I ate a little snack that my parents left in the kitchen since they are never home when I get back from school. After I finished my snack I got my bag and went outside. I didn't have that much homework but it was kind of tricky so it would take me a while. I couldn't really concentrate because I really didn't want to be in school tomorrow in math class. My thoughts were interrupted by someone tapping my shoulder, I turn around and see.......
