Chapter 42

Ciara's pov

I'm still in my room with my friends next to me. For some reason I couldn't stop crying. I'm not one to cry especially in front of other people. I tell myself to stay strong for others but . I finally settle down. I can breathe normally now, see everything once more, and hear everything that I wanted to.

" Will you tell us why you were crying now? And don't make up any excuses because it is not "nothing" when someone is bawling their eyes out,"

I sighed and told them the whole story. Yolo and Maddie started crying some more.

" Ciara, don't ever worry about being alone. We will always be a family no matter what," Cam said.

" I know but it's going to be hard now. We're all going to be doing different things at different times."

" We'll make things work. Besides we all made a promise to move out to California after high school, remember?" Maddie explained.

" Yeah, I guess everything will be okay."

" Good,now let's stop being in this sad mood. Let's get ready for the concert!" Cam exclaimed.

" Okay," I say with a smile on my face.

Addy's pov

Everyone is getting ready for the concert. I'm really excited because the songs I heard earlier were really good. I put on a blue sun dress and curled my hair. I went down to the movie room to see Cam, Omar and Brandy sitting on the couch all talking.

" Hey," I say.

" Hey," they all reply. Omar stood up and walked towards me with a smile on his face.

" You look beautiful," he whispered in my ear.

I stepped back to get a better look at him and smiled.

" Thank you," I say right before I kiss his cheek.

" Keep the lovey dovey stuff for when you no one is around you!" Brandy yelled throwing a pillow at us. Omar and I laughed and headed over to the couch.

" Where are the girls?" I asked.

" They'll be coming any minute now," Cam replied.

And as Cam said they were down in less than a minute. Ciara was wearing a cute colorful skirt with a white shirt that said something with NY. I couldn't tell because I didn't put on my contacts yet. Maddie was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a white long sleeved shirt with her black/white converse her hair down. Yolo was wearing white shorts and a blue Aeropostale shirt with her white flip-flops her hair also down.

I ran to the bathroom really quick to put on my contacts and then went back out.

" Hey," Ciara greeted with a small smile.

" Hi," I greeted back with a smile.

" Okay well since everyone is here no-" Cam got interrupted.

" Let's go!" Brandy said jumping off the couch and grabbing Ciara's arm dragging her down the stairs in surprise.

" Brandy! Wait I might fall down!!" I heard Ciara yell. The rest of us laughed and followed them down the stairs and out the back door. My parents left early because they were one of the sponsors.

Omar took my hand and smiled at me. When we arrived at the stage a group of guys were on stage playing centuries.

" REMEMBER ME FOR CENTURIES!!!"

We all screamed during the chorus. We were all jumping around and dancing. It was so much fun. Everybody who performed were amazing!! Ciara and Maddie went backstage while Yolo was with Cam and Brandy talking to two other people.

It was 11:00 and I was getting really tired. Omar saw that I was tied and suggested that we head back now. I nodded turning around to find the other's. I got Cam's attention and he ran over.

" Is it time to head back?" He asked.

" Yeah, you don't have to come if you don't want to."

" No I want to. I can't spend another minute watching Yolanda and this other guy flirt with each other," he said rolling his eyes. I laughed then asked who the guy was.

" It's actually Trey. His family owns a beach house here and they decided to come out here for a little family vacation."

" Ah, that makes sense."

" Yeah, anyway I'll go get her and everyone else."

" Make that just her and Brandy," Ciara said with Maddie by her side.

" Okay, I'll be back in a few."

" So did you enjoy the concert?" I asked .

" Yeah it was awesome!" Exclaimed Maddie.

" You're just saying that because you thought all the guys in the bands that played were cute," Ciara said laughing while rolling her eyes.

" Shut up," Maddie said laughing, hitting Ciara on the shoulder.

Omar's POV
A couple minutes later Cam, Yolo, and Brandy came back and we headed back to the house. Addy and I went into my room for a little to just talk about things.

" Omar, why have we been arguing a lot lately? It's like ever since Calvin came we've started to separate." She asked.

Just hearing his name made my blood boil. I started making my hands into fists.

" Really? I haven't noticed," I said I'm a sarcastic voice. Okay, maybe I didn't need to do that but I couldn't help it.

" Omar tell me what's the matter."

" It's nothing."

" It is not 'nothing.' just tell me please."

" You won't leave me alone until I do won't you?"

" Yup, now spill."

" Okay.... I'm just scared that you'll leave me for him. I mean you guys have so much in common and I feel like the third real. When you guys are together it makes me mad because you two look better together. You'll probably leave me for him when we get back."

" Whoa, wait a minute. You think I'd just leave you like that? Omar you know I wouldn't do that. "

" How do I know you won't leave me for him? You could be just like all the other girls who I've been with and just leave me for some other guy. You're probably flirting with him when I'm not around and you guys are going on secret dates behind my back." I barked.

" So now I'm just another girl who could leave you for another guy and you think that I'd go behind your back going on dates and flirting with him? Do you not trust me Omar? You really think that once we get back to school I'll dump you and start to date Calvin right away? I thought you trusted me but I guess I was wrong because I'm just like the rest of the girls you've dated who left you, except I never found another guy because I like you and no one else. But you're too worried that I'd go with Calvin and not trust me!" And with that she walked out of my room slamming the door.

I apologize now if I don't. The trimester is coming to an end and I need to keep my grades up especially since I missed a bunch of school. Anyway thank you so much for reading my story.
