"So let me get this straight. After I left, you guys continued to build up your nation, making Wilbur the official president and Tommy his right-hand man. You guys then decided you wanted independence from the Dream SMP, but Dream's having none of that because he's a bastard that wants everyone under his control. So he's started threatening you guys and he's already burnt down Tubbo's house, leaving you a message saying you have till today to surrender?"

As I looked around the room, I noticed that everyone was nodding their heads at the same time.

"Yeah that pretty much sums it all up"
Everyone was gathered inside the Camarvan the following morning. The group consisted of Wilbur, Fundy, Tubbo, Tommy and me, as Eret was nowhere to be found. We figured he'd gone mining or something in preparation for the upcoming events but that didn't sit well with me for some reason.

Nobody knew what was going to happen. All we knew was that we were in big trouble.

"Y/N I don't want it to seem like we're dragging you into this with us. You don't have to be involved in this. You can go hide until this is all over and come back once we're victorious or dead"
As he walked forward from the countertop where he'd been sitting on, Wilbur's voice appeared to boom louder than anyone else's in the room.

"Wilbur, L'manburg is my home as much as it is yours. Although I've not been there to help with the construction of our nation, you guys have. I don't want all your hard work to go to waste at the hands of the green bitch. I want to help you as much as I can, because, after all, we are family"

I took a step back, pleased with the little speech I had given to my best friends. I took a look around, taking in all that was going on around us. Tommy's cheesy grin caught my eye, slyly giving me a thumbs up before he returned his focus to Wilbur.

"So I guess you'll be staying to fight then"
Wilbur let out a small chuckle as he appeared to relax a little.

"Right so everyone, we don't know what to expect from the Dream Team today, but it's gonna be big whatever it is. We need to be prepared for them to attack at any moment. I want everyone to go back to their houses and gather anything and everything they might need. Tubbo do you still have some spare armour that Y/N can use?"
"Yes Sir!"
With a small giggle at everyone's grins, Tubbo's voice seemed to instantly improve the atmosphere.

"Brilliant so..."
"Wilbur?"
I stood forward from my spot in the back of the room to make sure I grabbed Wilbur's attention.
"I brought back some armour from my trip in my bag yesterday. I won't need Tubbo's"

"Right, that's brilliant Y/N, that means we'll still have a spare set. I want everyone to go back to their houses now, and bring everything, but I want you all back here within 5 minutes, understood? Wait and put your armour on back here so we can all be together because they could try and single us out one by one if we take ages. Oh and Fundy, make sure you grab the potions from yesterday."

Everyone nodded as they gathered their things in preparation to leave.

"Yes Sir"
With that, everyone in the Camarvan except Wilbur filed out. I strolled across the field, heading for my oak hut, which was nestled against L'manburg's left wall. A twig snapped ahead of me, and I looked up to see a running Eret, who appeared to be making their way towards the Camarvan. Before opening my door and walking inside my cabin, I sent him a short nod.

The cabin was modest and simple, with everything on one floor with an open layout. As I went in, the living area, dining room, and kitchen were all connected and on my right, while a narrow corridor on my left led to my storage room, bathroom, and bedroom. I quicken my pace, turning left and rushing down the corridor before crashing through my bedroom door. My gaze was drawn quickly to my armour stand, which was covered in the diamond armour I'd unpacked the night before, knowing I'd need it.

I was in desperate need of a weapon. My sword had to have been in my backpack, which was on my nightstand near my bed, because I hadn't unpacked anything else but my armour.

Rummaging through my bag, I quickly found my handy netherite sword and weighed it in my hand. It had been a while since I'd used it, but it was still in excellent condition. Standing up, I grabbed my armour and raced back to the Camarvan.

Walking through the oak door, I noticed Wilbur pacing up and down the van, his armour already on, with Tommy speaking to him in a hushed tone. Tubbo sat on the counter, peering out the window, his netherite armour already on.

At the back of the room, Eret was hastily helping Fundy with his chest plate. No one seemed to acknowledge my presence as I slipped on my armour, adjusting my sword in my belt. When I was finished, I simply stood by the doorway, waiting for Wilbur's instructions.

"Before we go into battle, gents and Y/N, may I read you the Declaration of Independence?

Forever the nation of the Dream SMP has cast great sins upon our great land of the hto dog van.
They've destroyed our roof for instance.
They have robbed us. Imprisoned us. Threatened us. Killed many of our men. This time of tyranny ends with us. This book declares that the nation which shall henceforth be known as L'manburg is separate, emancipated and independent from the nation of Dream SMP. The union of the masters of men. Together we are one. When in the course of human events..."

"Uh, guys? Sorry to interrupt but we may have a problem"
