Nerves were already running through my veins as I ran over to the mirror in the corner of the room. Quickly looking myself up and down in the reflection, I raised my new outfit in front of me and rested it against my shoulder, trying to get a sense of how it would look on me. From what I could see, it looked like it would fit rather well, with the sleeves fitting nicely and it not looking like it would be too baggy. As excitement started to bubble in my stomach, I started jumping up and down slightly as I started giggling, acting like a child on Christmas.

Without wasting a second, I rushed over to my bedroom door and threw it open, heading off on a search to find the bathroom that had a shower in if so I could finally wash and make myself look presentable for the occasion. With the opportunity to go out and enjoy myself as much as I could in the circumstances I found myself in, I was going to go all out, whether Dream liked it or not.

I moved slowly along the corridor, knocking on each of the five other doors before swinging them open in the hopes of finding a bathroom. In my mind, I wasn't exactly breaking any rules, so I saw no reason to be quiet as I smacked open door after door. Rushing down the spiral staircase to the ground floor, I briefly looked around the living room and kitchen before deciding to continue my descent down into the basement. The underground part of the base was a lot colder and darker than the rest, but I didn't pay much attention to it as I ran down one of the many corridors, trying my best not to slide on the wooden floor.

I quickened my pace as my eyes darted between the walls on either side of me, searching for another door to check through. Skidding around a corner, I crashed straight into something solid. Thinking it was a wall at first, I pushed myself away from the object with my hands, only to feel cotton underneath them. I couldn't understand how I'd ran into so many people in such a short amount of time. Looking up, I locked eyes with the raven-haired bandana boy. Sapnap.

"What are you doing?"
A quick rush of nervousness came over me as he looked up and down, before meeting my eyes again. His eyes kept on glancing down at the material in my hand as he waited for my response.

"Well you see, I was trying to find a bathroom so I could get ready but this place is like a literal maze and no one gave me a tour when I got here so I'm just trying to scope out the area if you know what I mean..."
I let out an uneasy laugh as I looked everywhere but at him, kind of scared to hear his response. We sat in silence for a minute as I could tell my new companion was lost in thought, trying to come up with what he should say in response.

"Aren't you supposed to stay in your room though? I don't think Dream would be happy if he found out you were wandering around here again"
I turned away slightly at his words, preparing myself in case I needed to run if he decided to call Dream or anyone else.

"Well that's what I thought, but due to the fact that no one seems to be capable of locking a door, they're basically inviting me to leave don't you think?"
His expression softened as a sly grin appeared on his face.

"So if I let you go, you'll behave later?"
"Definitely. One hundred percent. Of course I will. Why wouldn't I?"
I just rambled, silently hoping he wouldn't summon Dream because his ridiculous mask scared the living daylights out of me sometimes.
"Hmmm I guess that's good"
He paused briefly before he let out a small sigh.

"Third door on your right"
And with that, I was off, bounding down the corridor.
"Thanks Sap"
I could hear his faint giggle as I slammed the door shut behind me.

After having a quick shower, being careful to not disturb my healing cuts, I quickly checked each bandage to make sure they were on securely and that they wouldn't become an issue as the night went on. I dragged a towel through my hair, drying it as best as I could. After that, I grabbed the brush that had been sitting on the counter next to the sink and brushed out any knots, trying to style my hair to the best of my ability.

At that point, I looked pretty decent considering the situation I was in at that moment. I slowly slipped on my clothes, treating them with such delicacy as if I thought they were going to break at any moment.

I sighed as I closed my eyes, both excited and terrified to see how my outfit for the evening had come together. Taking yet another deep breath, I slowed turned back to face my reflection in the mirror, and that's when I opened my eyes.

Holy shit.

I looked fucking amazing.

The dress fitted me perfectly, showing off the curves of my body. The flowing skirt stopped just above my ankles, leaving enough room for my dirty trainers to be seen. The dress was perfect. I looked perfect.

Or

The suit clung to my figure, the dark material shining in the light. It seemed to fit perfectly, like it had been crafted specifically for me, which made me smile. My dirty trainers still stood out from below my trousers, but I still looked hot as fuck.

I giggled to myself before bolting back up to my room. I ran straight to my bed and collapsed onto it, repeatedly running my fingers through my hair so it wouldn't get messy or knotted. I sat like that for what felt like ten minutes before a harsh knock echoed throughout my room.

"Are you ready?"
