"I'm... I'm Clay"The sound of his words jolted me out of my daydream and brought my thoughts back to what was actually going on. I mentally slapped myself for doing something so idiotic as I quickly pulled my palm from his cheek.
"You're what?"
I took a step back, allowing me to observe how well his hair complemented his features.
"I'm Clay"
The tone of his cheeks darkened as he locked eyes with mine."Like the material clay? What's that got anything to do with this?"
He lifted his hand and began to awkwardly scratch the back of his neck.
"It's my name"
Even though his words were barely audible, I was able to understand them and my smile widened. Only Sapnap and George, and possibly Punz, knew his name."Clayyyyy"
As soon as I said that, his eyes widened and a large cheesy grin flashed across his face, making me giggle softly.
"Your name's pretty"
I wasn't lying; it was true, and it was a good match for him. After all, he was quite attractive. No, he wasn't. He was a friend of mine. He was just a friend."So anyways Mr Clay, I honoured you with my presence on this fine day to offer you some hot chocolate"
His smile somehow widened even further.
"Ah yes, a lovely cup of hot chocolate from my princess Y/N, sounds amazing"
My face flushed bright red. He had said I was his, which sparked the butterflies that had already begun to flutter in my tummy."Okay let's go then"
I walked away, brushing past his shoulder as I made my way towards the door before I heard the man behind me clear his throat."A little help"
I swivelled my body around to see him holding the mask in my direction.
I shuffled back over it, snatching it from his grip before making my way behind him.
You're going to have to bend down a little you know, I'm not that tall"A wheeze quickly escaped his lips.
"It's because you're just short!"
I rolled my eyes at the man child that stood in front of me, crying at his own joke."Oh shut up you giant, I want hot chocolate"
He finally managed to gather himself after a few minutes of trying, kneeling down a little so the back of his head was level with mine.I wrapped my arms around his head and lifted the mask up to his eyes. As he held it in place for me, his hand lightly grazed against mine.
I wrapped the straps over his head and struggled with the clasp for a few minutes till it clicked and I pulled his hood up over his head.
"There"
"Thank you Y/N, now I think it's about time for some hot chocolate"
We quickly made our way to the stairwell and up to the ground floor, where the open kitchen was located. When we got there, I quickly took a pot and set it on the burner, pouring in the milk and heating it up with some cocoa powder, sugar, and chocolate.
I could feel Dre...Clay's presence over my shoulder, watching me pour the liquid into two mugs before he tossed half a bag of marshmallows into each of them, which made me laugh. Clay then jumped up onto the counter with his hot chocolate in his hand as I grabbed my mug. He lifted his mask up slightly to expose his lip as he took a sip of his hot chocolate.
