I had been working on the potato farm with Techno for what felt like a couple of hours, but in reality, it had been two and a half days. Time didn't seem to pass at all as I planted the final few seeds in the gigantic potato farm. With a huge grin on my face, I turned to face Techno.

"We're done! You want to go get lunch Tec?"
I quickly dusted the dirt from my clothes before approaching the male, who was inspecting his crown for any marks.

"You do realise it's midnight, right?"
As I glanced at him in surprise, my smile faltered ever so slightly.
"How long has it actually been?"
As he laid his shining crown on his head, he let out a dark chuckle.

"2 days, 16 hours, 45 minutes and 12 seconds..."
My mouth fell open as I walked around him, slyly eyeing up his royal cloak hanging near the doorway.
"Should I question how you know that?"
"No. No you shouldn't"
"Okayyyy"

I took that as my queue to do a runner. I swiftly bolted out the door as I snatched his precious cloak and swung it over my shoulders.
I skidded through the corridor as I headed towards the open ravine.
"Where are you going... GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE YOU LITTLE NERD"
That's when I sped up. Clipping the cloak around my neck, I ran like my life depended on it, and once I heard the patter of footsteps behind me, I somehow went faster.

I rounded a corner to find the other members of our little rebellion, which they had decided to call Pogtopia, as well as someone else, huddled around a fire.
"Get out of my way, mother fuckers, the pig man is angry"
I sped by them on my way to the stairwell that led to the outside. I was certain I would lose him in the woods. As the tiny gathering dispersed, each of them exchanged amused glances with me.

"You reckon it's from the lack of sleep"
"Definitely... hold the phone. Is that Techno's cloak she's got"
"I think it is..."
Their voices faded as I sprinted up the steps, making it upstairs at a record pace, but the pig man still somehow managed to gain on me. The outdoor breeze touched my face before I could blink, filling my lungs with fresh air as I continued ahead, laughing wildly, in the woodland.

After five more minutes of running, I couldn't take it anymore. I slowed myself to a stop. Turning around, I expected to see the pink-haired man, but all I saw were trees, which seemed to continue on forever.

I whirled on my heels, taking in my surroundings while panting for air, before turning around and returning the way I came. I walked for what seemed like an eternity, enjoying the sensation of the cloak flowing behind me, but I didn't appear to be getting anywhere.

The sound of a nearby twig snapping made my head swivel in that direction. Automatically, I made my way towards the sound.
"Techno..."
I was greeted with an unnerving silence, as if I were being watched. As my eyes caught sight of a white object trapped in the moonlight, goosebumps covered my skin.

Two arms wrapped around my waist, lifted me up and yanked me backwards before I could investigate, causing me to let out a high-pitched squeal of surprise.
"Got ya nerd"
I playfully slapped his shoulder as he set me back down, before turning to face him.
"Took you long enough potato man"
I huffed and crossed my arms as I turned to see where the white item had been, only to find it had vanished.

"What is it?"
"Oh nothing, I thought I saw something"
I smiled as I glanced up at him once more.
"Sure you did... The cape looks good on you, by the way"
He awkwardly scratched his neck as he moved away, making me let out a snort.
"I always thought it was a cloak"
"Same thing, different names. I don't care"

"Okay okay. So can you take me back home now Mr. human GPS?"
"Alright tiny nerd"
He shushed me with his finger before linking his arm with mine. He began walking me back to the ravine before I could acknowledge what was going on.

As we reemerged into the ravine, I was met with the sight of four boys huddled together, seemingly planning something of some sort. The boys consisted of Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo and a short brunette boy wearing a beanie similar to one that Wilbur used to wear before the whole revolution with L'Manburg.

I'd seen the boy before only once, standing upon a stage alongside the man who'd kicked us out of the nation we'd created with our bare hands. I felt sick just thinking about that day.

"What the fuck is he doing here"
I practically snarled my words as all four boys jumped up and turned to face me and Technoblade. The beanie-wearing boy, who I knew to be Quackity, began to back up as I stormed forward towards Wilbur and Tommy.

"You do realise that you've let the enemy fucking sidekick into our base, right? The base that's supposed to be secret so we can get our stuff together before we go to war with them"
Tommy merely tugged at his sleeve as Wilbur stepped forward, blocking my view of Quackity.

"He wants to help us overthrow Schlatt Y/N"
I took a step forward, inches from Wilbur, and gazed up at him with a stern expression on my face.
"Are you just gonna ignore that fact that it could all just be a scheme, a trick, so Schlatt can have a man on the inside?"

"He shot him Y/N"
I cast a glance at Tommy, making sure I glared at him.
"It's also a good coverup story, don't you think?"
"I heard their whole argument..."
"Well dear brother, there's this thing called acting. It could have easily been staged"
Wilbur placed his hand on my shoulder and turned me around to face him again.

"You're going to have to trust him Y/N. Trust me, we need all the people we can get"
I rolled my eyes, scoffing, as I tapped my hand against his cheek before walking away, the cape trailing after me.
"It's your rebellion, Will. What I say doesn't matter anyway. I'm going to bed. I think you should too Techno"
That's precisely what I did. I took off his cape and laid it on a chair before heading to my room, where I fell asleep shortly afterwards.

"WILBURRRRR"
I bolted upright as I silently cringed at the volume of my young brother's voice. No long lie for me. I jumped out of bed and marched over to Tommy and Wilbur, who were both looking at what appeared to be a book.

"What are you guys doing? I was trying to sleep"
I crossed my arms and waited for an answer while they both rolled their eyes at me.
"Dream wants to help us"
The thought of seeing that silly mask again filled me with dread. The mask had been haunting my dreams for the last two years, but not in the way I had expected. The dreams didn't scare me in the slightest, but they did leave me with an uneasy sensation in the pit of my stomach.

"And how do we know he's not lying?"
"He gave Tommy his crossbow"
My mouth practically hit the floor as I struggled to find words, my gaze darting between the boys.

"Can I have it?"
I gave them the puppy eyes I knew they couldn't resist, and within a blink of my eyes, Wilbur was handing me the most powerful crossbow known to our people, causing a huge smile to spread across my face.

"Pogtopia for the win!"
