I didn't get any sleep that night since I couldn't stop thinking about all the possible outcomes of the upcoming events. So when Tubbo and Tommy arrived at midday to pick me up, I was more nervous than I'd ever been. As people rushed past, hurrying to make their way out of the gates, me and the two boys made our way through the gates of L'manburg, keeping a close eye on one another.

Beyond the gates sat a new building that seemingly appeared overnight. The build was tall and completely constructed of stone and wood, having a professional sort of vibe to it. It was perched on the edge of a cliff, with waterfalls on both sides. The front of the structure was open, with crimson red drapes on either side and a microphone stand in the centre, facing the hundreds of rows of seats below.

A tall man in a black suit with a red tie that almost matched the drapes stood in the centre of the stage. He had fluffy brown hair with curling ivory horns that looked like goat horns. The man had a smug grin on his face as he adjusted a couple of mics before returning his attention to a smaller boy wearing a beanie and an outfit similar to the larger male.

I'd never seen either of them before, but from what Tommy had told me, the young boy appeared to be Quackity, while the taller male appeared to be Schlatt. Tommy hurried over to the podium, leaving me and Tubbo to find our places while he prepared for what was about to happen. He was really confident that he and Wilbur would win, but I wasn't so sure. Something didn't feel quite right.

I didn't mention it to Tubbo, not wanting to worry him as I took my seat next to Sapnap, Tubbo coming to sit on my right. I didn't want to be there at all, despite the fact that a vast audience had come for the momentous event that would influence the nation's future. I slouched on Sapnap's shoulder, cuddling into his side. I was fatigued from my lack of sleep, but my nerves had adrenaline coursing through my veins, keeping me wide awake.

Wilbur interrupted my thoughts as he cleared his throat in front of the many microphones. Tommy stood to his left, looking rather excited and anxious at the same time, both of them wearing the famous suits of L'manburg proudly. On the right of the two boys stood a very tired looking George and a pissed off Quackity, who continuously snapped his fingers to keep the other boy awake.

Both Niki and Fundy stood to the left of the two boys, dressed in magnificent black suits with delighted smiles on their cheeks, savouring the moment. Schlatt, meanwhile, stood back in the stage's shadows, taking a brief gulp from his flask before straightening out his suit and bracing himself for the outcome.

"My fellow L'Manburgians"
"Go Wilburrrrr, woooo, that's my president"
As all eyes seemed to shift to us after his dramatic outburst, I playful nudged Tubbo's shoulder, making it incredibly difficult for us to contain our laughter.

"Thank you for coming here today to watch a historic moment, the passing over of the presidency for the first election of L'manburg. I have with me the election results of the four parties"
As Wilbur produced a white envelope from his pocket, everyone seemed to straighten up in their seats, focusing their whole attention on him.

"SWAG2020"
As Wilbur motioned to the couple of men to his right, the crowd exploded in applause.

"POG2020"
As Tommy bowed and clapped towards Wilbur, the crowd erupted in a bigger cheer.

"COCONUT2020"
Fundy waved excitedly and Niki smiled brightly, prompting a softer cheer.

"And SCHLATT2020"
Schlatt took a little step forward, nodded his head in the direction of the crowd before returning his gaze to Wilbur.
