I was perched high in a tree, looking down on a group of stressed-out boys hurrying through L'manburg. I knew they were planning something, but I didn't know what it was. It was definitely something to do with this Technoblade character, but it was all still a jumbled mess in my eyes. The three boys rounded a corner at that very moment, prompting me to lean forward to see what they were up to.

Big mistake.

Before I could even stop myself, I shifted my weight to the left and found myself plummeting out of the tree, bracing myself for impact. Yet it was softer than I expected. Looking up, my gaze was drawn to a green and crimson pair that belonged to a half-enderman boy.
"Good morning to you too"
I jumped free of his grip quickly and looked around, relieved we hadn't drawn any attention to ourselves.

"How long have you been there?"
The male simply shrugged and looked around.
"I just happened to be walking by, I'm helping Tubbo with something-"
"Hold on a minute, you're helping them?"
He merely chuckled nervously and looked around again to make sure we weren't being overheard.
"It's not like that, Techno's going to need all the help he can get if they carry this out"
"So you're betraying the boys to protect Technoblade?"
"No. I don't- I don't choose sides, I just try to help the people"
I just nodded to show him I understood as I readjusted my mask.

"Well, some of my sources tell me that a certain masked man is quite interested in assisting the soon to be bachelor in distress, but doesn't actually have a clue what's going on"
He just chuckled as he once again looked around to make sure we couldn't be overheard.
"Well then, he might somehow work out that in five days they're planning to bring Techno here for a trial but turn it into an execution when he's locked up and unable to escape"
As I hugged Ranboo, a smile appeared on my face.
"Thank you so much! You have no idea how much that's going to help"
And with that, I dashed out to inform Dream of everything I'd found out.

My gaze was drawn to the hooded man at the far end of the room, who sat with his back to me. He was slouched at his desk, looking just as drained as ever.

"Guess what?"
"Get the fuck out"
My eyes narrowed as I stared at the green hood.
"The fucks wrong with you today"
"I said get out Y/N"
His voice was angry, and each word he spoke was laced with venom as they made their way into my ears, making me shiver slightly.
"And I asked what's wrong with... oh"
My attention was drawn to a gleaming object on the floor. When I turned to look at it, I saw a mask. THE mask. And he wasn't wearing it.

Slowly, I approach it, picking it up in my hands and weighing the chilly object. I raised it higher and peeked at the inside, which I'd never seen before.
"I said get the fuck out, don't make me tell you again Y/N..."
I quickly slammed the door shut behind me as I bolted up the corridor, clutching the mask securely in my hand. I heard the door bang from behind me as I rounded the corner and the staircase came into view.
"You're so dead!"
"Gotta catch me first!"

Now to say my stamina was good would've been a complete lie; I can't even be bothered walking, let alone running. So I was kind of in deep shit. Just as I was about to reach the stairwell, I took a quick left through an already open door that appeared to be a storage room. Perfect. I quickly slipped between some of the chests and listened as Dream's footsteps ran past the door. I slipped from my hiding spot and wandered upstairs, still inspecting the mask in my hands, grinning to myself as I heard the front door slam shut.

With a sigh, I slid off my own mask and walked over to the couch to take a seat. But before I was forced onto the sofa and reached out to grab a piece of soft cloth. I found myself staring into big, emerald green eyes. They glistened in the dim light, luring me in. I could get lost in those vibrant irises for hours on end, never getting bored.

His brows were furrowed, and a scar had sliced across his left one, just missing his eye as it passed over to the bridge of his nose, which was covered in light freckles. They spread to his rosy cheeks, dulling slightly due to his lack of exposure to sunshine after so long under a mask. His lips rested slightly apart as he hovered over my trapped body, looking over my frozen figure.

Holy shit, he was hot.

My eyes snapped away from his face as I realised what position we were in.
He had his hands on either side of my head as I lay flat on the couch. One of his knees rested against the outside of my body, while the other hung off the couch. I visibly gulped as I tried to push myself out of that position, only to find myself sinking deeper into the couch.
"Why do you look so nervous?"
"Pffft, I am not"
As his face got closer to mine, my cheeks flushed crimson red. Our noses almost touched as our breaths hit each other's faces.

He just tutted as he ran his tongue along his lips, instantly making my eyes widen.
"If you really wanted to see my face that bad princess, all you had to do was ask"
"Na, why would I want to see that"
I drew an imaginary circle around his face as I pretended to gag.
"Well that's not what you said last time"
"Well what did I say then?"
He somehow leaned in closer again, his eyes locked with mine.
"You said I was pretty..."
"I was clearly delusional whenever that was Clay, but will you please get off of me so I can get something to eat?"

He does just that, but he made sure his smirk didn't go unnoticed, but neither did his blush.
