Tubbo's POV

I just stood there, frozen in fear as I kept my gaze fixed on the netherite axe dangling from the masked man's shoulder. He appeared to be peering down at me and Y/N, assessing everything about us.

Y/N took my hand in hers and squeezed it hard before pushing me behind her, hiding me from the lunatic in front of us. I slowly felt my body begin to tremble as the image of my friends dying at the hands of the horrible green man flashed before my eyes.

"A traitor"

Wilbur was the first to speak up, and his voice bounced across the small space. I could see Wilbur approaching Eret as I peered over Y/N's shoulder, but a brunette boy wearing white goggles stepped into his path with his sword raised.

Eret stepped back into the shadows of the room, slowly making his way to one of the doorways in the back corners of the room.

"Down with the revolution boys
It was never meant to be"

As I watched him turn and walk away, Y/N spun back to face me, a forced smile present on her face.

"Tubbo you need to run. Run as far away from here until you know that you're safe okay? I don't want you to get hurt. I can't risk losing you Tubs"
She gave me a cold stare that indicated how desperate she was for me to leave. She knew it was for the best and I trusted her instinct. I gave her a quick nod before stumbling backwards and turning to sprint along the dark stone passage.

I sprinted as quickly as my legs would allow, never pausing to gather my breath until the cold air of the outside reached my face. I hesitantly looked over my shoulder to see that no one had followed me along the corridor, which made me slow my running into a walk.

I walked towards my small hut, which was situated within L'manburg's high walls, replaying what had just happened over and over again in my head.

I opened my front door and quickly closed it behind me before I leaned against my front door, my legs turning to jelly. I slid down onto the floor slowly, tears desperately trying to escape my eyes.

I could've been there, helping them, but I was too much of a coward to even stand up for myself. They had all protected me but as soon as I was needed, I let Y/N put her life on the line to save mine without hesitation.

As I thought of them all dead in that small room, tears began to escape from my eyes and make their way down my cheeks. Tommy and I never got to say our goodbyes. I'd never been able to tell him how much he meant to me.

I just sat there for what seemed like hours, bawling my eyes out, until I realised that my tears weren't going to help anything. My friends needed me. There was no doubt in my mind that they would be hurt in some way, so they'd need medical equipment.

I got to my feet, swiftly brushing myself down and wiping my tears away. I then went to my little kitchen and retrieved the first aid kit as well as a couple of extra healing potions from one of the cupboards.

With that, I returned to my front door and began walking back to the hole in the hill, carrying medical supplies in a rucksack on my back and a sword in my hand.

I was about to enter the tunnel when I noticed two figures approaching me at a quick pace, making me stop in my tracks.

I noticed a mask glistening in the sunlight strapped to someone's face as the figures got closer to the light. There was a boy limping after him and what looked like a dead body in the arms of the masked man.

I just stared at the approaching group of people, too scared to move. Dream seemed to notice my presence before his friend Sapnap. His masked face gazed right at me as he looked up from his supposedly dead friend.

Sapnap quickly followed his gaze and reached for his crossbow, which was strapped to his back, but Dream intervened. He just shook his head at the limping boy before continuing past me, quickly followed by Sapnap who patted me on the head before hurrying off to catch up with his friend.

I just stood there for a minute before snapping back to reality and hurrying back down the tunnel to the terrifying room. When I saw the sign in the threshold, I slowed down and cautiously peered through the doorway to see Fundy attempting to feed Wilbur a healing potion. I nodded at Fundy before turning around to see Tommy and Y/N slouched over on the floor in the corner of the room.

Tommy's eyes flickered open and closed, as if he was floating in and out of consciousness. That was the palest I'd ever seen him. Blood slowly seeped through the bloody cloth Y/N weakly held over her brother's wound.

The girl was leaning against the wall next to her younger brother. Her face was a little brighter than his, but the colour was disappearing rapidly. A pool of blood swarmed around her free arm as I noticed a deep gash on her forearm that had gone untreated.

As I approached the two, I yanked my rucksack off my back and dug through it for bandages. Both cuts required stitches, but Fundy would handle that back at the medical facility, so the most I could do was wrap them up.

Starting off with Tommy, I carefully bandaged his shoulder, applying as much pressure as I could to try to reduce the blood loss. I rummaged in my bag once more and pulled out a healing potion. Opening Tommy's mouth slightly, I poured the reddish-pink liquid down his throat before turning my attention to his older sister.

Her wound wasn't quite as deep as Tommy's, but it was significantly bigger. I quickly examined the wound on her left arm and began dabbing a cloth on it to try to clean up the large amount of blood. Y/N slowly raised her head, her eyes meeting mine. She sent me a thankful smile before her eyes fluttered shut.

I wrapped up her arm quickly and moved to help Fundy carry Will up to the medical house, before returning with him to retrieve the others.
