THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW
"Aight, we're here!"
The MSBY four plus Daina stood in front of Misaki's apartment door for the small gathering they've been invited to. As the three energetic men were arguing about who gets to knock on the door, Sakusa just stood behind them, secretly eager to see what's inside her apartment.
He worried about the place she's staying at during these past few years. Has she been cleaning like I thought her? Disinfecting now and then? Or maybe—
Sakusa paused in his thoughts when all of a sudden he felt a fluff like movement in his legs. He snapped out of his thoughts and found himself already inside the apartment, then the weird movement occurred again.
He panicked and took a big step back and leaned on the wall, startling his friends as they gave him weird looks.
"Are you alright Kiyoomi?" Daina asked.
"What was that?" He mumbled.
"What was what—"
"Cinnamon!" Atsumu's voice beamed throughout the whole place.
Cinnamon? Sakusa thought, furrowing his eyebrows in curiosity as he followed Atsumu's line of sight. Then he looked down, seeing an animal, a caramel colored dog with soft and fluffy fur to be exact, circling itself around his feet.
And the red name tag caught his eye. Cinnamon, he read; finally a wave of nostalgia flashed over him.
"Fine."
"Really—"
"Only if I get to name it."
"Okay then, what do you wanna name it?"
"...Cinnamon."
"Cinnamon...Cinnamon. Aaaaahhhh! That's so cute Yoomi!"
"Cinnamon..." he mumbled absent-mindedly as he stared at the fluff-ball like creature.
"You're scared of dogs, Omi-kun?" Atsumu snorted teasingly.
'They might have germs' would have been Sakusa's usual response, but no. He only stared at it with slight fondness in his eyes.
"This is Micchi's pomeranian, Cinnamon."
Saki's dog...Sakusa's lips parted in realization. She really named it Cinnamon...
"Oh? Hello everyone!"
Misaki's voice greeted cheerfully. They all turned to the kitchen and found her with an apron on and her hair tied messily in a bun.
And Sakusa can't stop and stare at the sight he used to see every morning years ago. How she looked effortlessly beautiful in such exhausted state and how she never failed to greet anyone with a smile. If it wasn't for the unfamiliar look in her eyes, Sakusa would've thought of this exactly as a trip down memory lane.
"Good evening, Princess!"
"Helloooo Misaki-san!"
Everyone greeted except for one man who stood speechless behind the others. From a room, the door opened and a caramel-haired head peeked out curiously, studying the group of people until his face contorted into his usual cheerful energy.
"You're all here!"
They all grouped in the couches of the living room, some on the carpeted floor, as they talked loudly amongst each other. Hinata, Bokuto, Tomoe, and Sai got along pretty well. Daina, Atsumu, and Komori also got into their conversations.
