THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

"Kiyoomi-niichan remembers me!" beamed the brown-haired boy as he ran up to Sakusa to abruptly wrap his arms around his waist, unlike before when he only managed to hug his legs.

The action took Sakusa by surprise. Yuuji felt the man tensed up when he realized, he quickly tore away from him.

"A-ah! Gomen, I kinda forgot," Yuuji nervously chuckled while scratching the back of his nape.

And he can't blame him; Yuuji was only seven years old when they last saw each other and now he's twelve, which surprised the germaphobe to see the kid all grown up since the last time. But Sakusa cared less about the physical interaction just seconds ago. He shrugged it off and softly patted his head before walking past him to continue checking out the shoes—

Wait. Realization struck him. If Yuuji's here, then that means Misaki's back...

"What are you doing here in Tokyo, Yuuji?" He asked as the boy sat in the stool just near them while swinging his feet.

"I came here with nee-san!"

Then where is she?

"Why are you here all alone?" Sakusa asked.

"Nee-san's somewhere in this mall with Atsumu-nii, then I found this shop and wanted to check it out!"

At the mention of the setter's name, Sakusa found himself frowning while forming fists, even more when he realized he was here with Misaki and Yuuji — spending time with the Yua siblings all by himself.

That used to be him.

He grunted, rolling his eyes unbeknownst to the boy before asking, "Does she know you're here?"

Yuuji shook his head with an innocent smile. "I'll find them later when I'm done checking these shoes out."

"What? But Yuuji you're only 11." The germaphobe deadpanned, shooting the smiling kid a scrunched look. "Yua-san's not the type to stay calm after losing her 11-year old brother in a mall. She's obviously looking for you right now. You should head back."

"It's kinda weird to hear you calling nee-san by our last name, Kiyoomi-chan."

"Don't change the subject—"

But when Sakusa raised his head, the brown-haired kid was nowhere to be found. He was slowly panicking—

"Do you have my size?"

By the corner of the store was Yuuji, holding a shoe in his palm to show it to the saleslady. A sigh of relief escaped Sakusa's lips as he shoved his hands in the pockets of his jacket before approaching the kid.

"What's wrong?" He asked, looking down on the big shoe he held.

"They don't have my size, said they're all for adults like you." Yuuji pouted and crossed his arms.

"But you just bought that?" Sakusa pointed at the Nike paperbag.

"I'm convinced Asics is better for volleyball, but Atsumu-nii said Nike is. So nee-san bought me Nike shoes— ooh!"
