HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY TO THE MAN OF THIS BOOK, SAKUSA KIYOOMI!🥺❤️ the whole fandom loves youuu 😩💛
THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW"First, they both came back with bruises on their faces and now they don't even talk, or even communicate during the practice match?! And it's been a week!" Bokuto whispered towards the orangehead as they watched Sakusa sitting in his usual isolated corner while Atsumu sat on the diagonally farthest to the wavy-haired man.
There was an obvious tension between them, yet no one else knew what really happened but their captain, Meian, who witnessed everything.
A week ago when the captain stepped out to answer a call, he found Sakusa and Atsumu conversing on the spot behind the gym where it's barely noticeable by anyone. He approached them to tell them to get back to practice when all of a sudden Atsumu threw a punch on Sakusa's jaw.
Meian was surprised, but he just watched from afar as Sakusa refused to fight back.
Atsumu kept landing punches, Sakusa let him as if he thinks he deserved it and waited for the setter's rants to stop.
Grabbing him by the collar of his now bloody shirt, Atsumu brought his face closer to Sakusa's as they deathly gazed at one another.
"So you're that asshole she keeps talking about?" snarled the blonde. "The one who left her, I heard? And now you're telling me, what, to back off so you can have her again?"
"So what?" Sakusa hissed back. "Maybe I do want her back. But you just always have to get in the way of everything."
"Bold of you to assume I'm giving her up that easily. Especially to a jerk like you."
Sakusa growled, grabbing Atsumu's fists and yanked it away from him. He took him by surprise and thrashed the setter harshly to the ground before returning what he did. Sakusa didn't hesitate to land a punch, just one, hard punch that immediately sent Atsumu's nose bleeding.
"You don't have to back off." Sakusa stood up, dusting his clothes while wiping the blood of his nose and mouth. Filthy. "But just to let you know I won't either. I'm getting her back."
"Heh." Atsumu scoffed, sitting up. "That won't be easy, Sakusa."
Meian didn't dare interfere. It was a personal conversation that he also somehow already knew. He watched leaning against the wall with arms crossed as Sakusa passed by him as if he wasn't there in the first place. Then he called for the spiker's attention. "Sakusa." Said man stopped walking and didn't even bother looking at his senior's direction.
