we have a small Misaki and Sakusa moment here🥺THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW
Atleast my bestfriend's married to the love of her life. Misaki thought, smiling to herself as she stood behind the other women dressed in sparkling golden gowns like her, except that hers was a bit more like the bride herself being the maid in honor and all.
All bridesmaids piled in the center of the spacious room with excitement as Tomoe climbed up the small platform with the bouquet in hand. She grabbed everyone's attention just with a beaming wave and everyone erupted into cheers for the newly wedded bride.
Meanwhile Sakusa sat in the table, Komori to his right conversing with Bokuto and Hinata to his left, he had his eyes closely fixed on a particular light-brown haired woman within the group.
It's been a week since the fight happened and as the days passed, Tomoe's and Sai's wedding came. The ceremonial rites finished just an hour ago and everyone were now gathered at the reception area where the whole night will most be spent on.
But even as a week passed, there was no interaction between Misaki and Daina, neither did Sakusa was able to get Daina to apologize for what she's done.
As the wavy-haired man sat prim in his spot, eyes glued on Daina to make sure she doesn't make any move on Misaki, he also can't help but steal glances at his ex who stood behind the other bridesmaids just simply sipping on some wine and unbothered at Tomoe who's about to commence the 'bouquet tossing tradition'.
The gown that complimented her body, the light make up she wore that made her more blooming than she already is, and her short, asymmetrical brown hair topped with flowers and pins. Sakusa can't help but stare.
"Who do 'ya think will catch it?" Atsumu asked.
"I'm going for the black haired woman in the middle. I think." Komori guessed.
"I'm going for the redhead in the left." The blonde said.
"Ooh! I'm going for Misa-chan!"
"Me too!"
Bokuto and Hinata beamed energetically; sharing the same brain cells.
"I doubt Micchi can tho, she looked uninterested but still amused to find out which single woman will marry next." Atsumu laughed. "Plus she's holding a wine glass in the other hand, she can't catch it with one hand and I think she doesn't even need luck in love!"
All ladies squealed in excitement as Tomoe turned around with the bouquet in her hands. Then she tossed it high in the air and everyone watched it fall down. While the women reached desperately for it, the sitting crowd watched the bouquet descend towards an unbothered brunette in the back just casually sipping on champagne.
It's coming towards me. Misaki thought and waited for it to approach nearer. It'd be a waste if it falls to the floor—
"Got it!"
Daina raised the bouquet of flowers high in her hand while everyone cheered and laughed with her and the festive atmosphere. Without even batting an eye, she strutted back to the center farther from where Misaki stood and enjoyed the wishes and praises she got from the other ladies.
She needed it anyway. It's not like I want to be married anytime soon. Misaki shrugged, chuckling to herself as she walked back to the table.
Just on cue, the music started playing. It was like a waltz from a fairytail just like tonight's theme. The newly wedded couple were the first to take the dancefloor. Like a real life prince charming, everyone watched as Sai bowed in front of his princess.
