YUA MISAKII...was saved?
Or am I just talking in my head...?
All of a sudden, I felt a throbbing pain in my head which was enough to answer my question.
So I was found.
Now I have to face them...
I steadily let out a deep exhale as I slowly fluttered my eyes open. A few voices were all I hear chatting among themselves while a binding light greeted my eyes, making me weakly lift my hand above my head.
"Where...am I?" I found myself to speak and the chatter stopped.
"Micchi's awake!"
"Sai call the nurses!"
Footsteps scurried towards me and soon two figures hovered over me with worried expressions.
Atsumu and Tomoe...?
I squinted my eyes and forced myself to sit up with the help of Atsumu who supported my back. I whispered a 'thanks' and fell silent for a moment.
Tomoe who sat in a stool beside the bed grabbed my hand reassuringly. "You scared us." She frowned. "How are you feeling?"
I'm obviously in a hospital, it's better not to ask the obvious and avoid asking how I got here.
"...like shit." I replied. "What time is it?"
"It's been three days. Are you hungry?"
"Kinda. Atsumu, don't you have practice?"
"We do—"
"You shouldn't be here then."
"I-I was just worried about you?!" He childishly wailed before sighing to lean on the chair. "I wanted to eat breakfast with you but you weren't in your apartment and Tomoe told me you fainted and you were in the hospital."
Fainted? I raised a brow, turning to Tomoe who only gave me an obvious look.
So Atsumu doesn't know. Probably only her and Sai...if so then that's good.
"Y-yeah...I'm fine now..."
"That's good." He stood up, giving me a cheeky smile. "Atleast you're awake now. I should head to practice, I'll be back later— umm, if you're fine with that, hehe."
"Uhh..." I wanted some time alone, but I also don't wanna be rude. "Sure."
We said our goodbyes, watching the blonde setter exit the room while a few nurses and Sai entered. The next few minutes were spent going over schedules of certain medicines and check-ups until finally the nurses left and will be back the next two hours for a prescription.
I leaned on the headboard of the bed, facing the ceiling while enjoying the silence. Tomoe nor Sai didn't speak and neither am I able to bring myself to start a conversation. An awkward five minutes has passed, I suddenly felt a sudden vile liquid rushing up my throat.
I jolted forward and instantly Sai grabbed the bucket on the floor while Tomoe rushed to my aid. I vomited violently, the metallic smell of blood reaching my nostrils while my grip on the bucket tightened. Finally it stopped, my stomach feeling empty and body feeling numb. Tomoe continued rubbing her hand on my back as she handed me some tissues to wipe around my mouth.
When I weakly lifted my head, my eyes widened to see blood, lots of them.
"Hey, no need to panic." Sai's voice reassured from beside me. "It's normal for you to vomit blood."
