THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

Misaki's eyes widened. She turned to the raven-haired man with a shocked look. "Kiyoomi--"

"That would be GREAT!" beamed Komori. "AND OH MY GOD. You're TOGETHER...AGAIN!"

She scratched my nape. "Well, we are not-"

The brunette was cut off when Komori pulled her into a headlock, ruffling her hair in the process. "I knew this day would come!" He cheekily smiled, "Auntie will be so surprised to see you again."

"Oi, get your filthy hands off her." A scowl came from Kiyoomi's lips as he took a step forward, tugging on the woman's hand. He pulled her towards him as she softly landed her face on his chest.

Komori laughed in response, "GAHAHA! Getting possessive now are ya, Kiyoomi? I'm not stealing your girl!"

"Wait, wait," Misaki interrupted before Kiyoomi could retort back, "family dinner? You didn't tell me anything about having dinner - with YOUR family."

Komori shrugged, shooting the man beside me a glare.

"Sorry," Kiyoomi sighed while he pinched the bridge of his nose, "I wasn't planning to go anyway. Plus, I didn't know last night would happen."

"What happened- did you guys had sex-"

Misaki looked at Komori wide eyed, blushing. "No-"

"Motoya for fuck's sake can you not interrupt for once?" Kiyoomi cooly growled. "I mean, us. Saki and I."

"Ah."

The brown-haired woman laid her head on Kiyoomi's shoulder, silently listening to them converse. Kiyoomi's large hand that rested on her thigh slowly intertwined itself with hers as their hands locked. He gave it a reassuring squeeze after a few seconds before he asked.

"Will you come to dinner with me tonight?"

Komori silently listened in the background, awaiting for her response.

She raised her head and looked at Kiyoomi. His green orbs stared straight back at her hazel brown ones. "I...don't know...I'm kind of nervous to be honest." Misaki honestly muttered.

"We don't have to go." He replied.

"I just haven't seen them in years." She shrugged. "It's just that, I just, out of nowhere, disappeared from your life, left no traces, and what, suddenly I'm back? Doesn't mean I don't wanna see them again, of course I do! Just that what if they think I'm playing around? 'Ya know like, what if-"

"It's not like it was your fault you guys broke up in the first place." Komori snickered while looking at the man beside me.

Kiyoomi tensed up. "Fucking hell, I get it-"

"Now now Yoomi, he was just teasing." Misaki rubbed circles on his arm while she chuckled nervously before glaring at a grinning Komori. "Stop that." She mouthed.

The brown haired man was still cheekily smiling. "Misaki-chan," he grinned, "if there's one thing I know about Omi's mom, is that she liked you. She'd be delighted to see you tonight."

Yua Misaki has never been one to be insecure with herself - looks, body...it was the least of her worries growing up.
