THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEWI do love him.
Still held feelings for the same man who broke my heart five, long years ago.
I was denying it. I mean — anyone would've moved on after those years. I'd sound pathetic and needy if I'd admit it.
Maybe it's the fact that with him I had the best relationship with; no toxicity, no possessive manipulation...just filled with wholesome love.
Thick smoke escaped her lips and slowly dissipated into thin air. A few more huffs, smoke filled her vision and all over the balcony as she threw the cigarette on the ground. She tightly gripped on the glass, crossing her legs on the chair as she stared up at the moon.
Tears streamed down Misaki's face non-stop. With a hand gripping the left part of her dress, she continued crying harder as she felt her heart tearing apart.
"Why do I still care?" She asked herself, bringing her knees close to her chest.
The alcohol slowly took over her body, yet she chugged down the burning gin down her throat in desperate attempts to get rid of the pain she was feeling right now.
I hate you, Sakusa Kiyoomi.
But I love you.
She gagged from the throat-hurting liquid before struggling to light another cigarette.
I love you so much that I begged God to help me unloved you.
But even if we knew each other's feelings, there's no way we can be together again.
I just wanted you to know how I still feel.
Two knocks came from the door. Misaki weakly raised her head to face the noise's direction as she contemplated for a minute.
"Micchi! You there?"
The familiar voice called out.
"Micchi?"
"Y-yeah! Wait a minute!" She responded and weakly got to her feet, wobbling as she walked towards the entrance door.
She tiredly swung the door open, revealing the blonde setter with a worried expression. Atsumu's eyes lit up in relief, letting out a sharp exhale.
Suddenly, he was pulled down to her level, a hand grabbing the collar of his shirt as their lips smashed.
Atsumu was too shocked to even think of kissing back. He was too surprised to make himself move as his legs moved on their own. As he was still processing what's happening, he was pushed harshly down on the soft, grey couch making him release a groan.
Misaki crawled on top of him, eyes half-lidded tiredly as she bent closer to his face. Atsumu has never smelled alcohol this strong before, making his nose hurt as he scrunched his eyebrows. Then she grabbed his face, making him face her direction as they looked into each other's eyes.
"Micchi..." he uttered out quietly, noticing the painful look in her eyes, "...you were crying..."
"That doesn't matter," muttered Misaki, lowering her face closer as her breath tickled his skin.
