THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW"He's a bringing a friend?"
"Yes."
"A friend...?"
"Somewhat."
"Honey, Kiyoomi's bringing a friend over for dinner." The older woman called.
The man raised his attention from the newspaper. "Yes honey, I heard."
"Kiyoomi's bringing a friend?" This time it was the younger woman.
"Is it a he or she?"
Komori snickered before wiggling his brows at them. "She's a she."
The older Sakusa gasped, hands clamped over her mouth before turning to her daughter. "Did you hear that, Koemi?"
Koemi's eyebrows furrowed, slowly nodding along with a perplexed look on her face.
Himaki Sakusa softly smiled as she muttered to herself, "He's finally moved on, huh?"
Just in time, the doorbell rang.
After the emotional moment they both shared, they decided it's finally time to start the night.
Kiyoomi drove into the massive gates of his childhood home. Nothing has changed, the brunette mentally thought. Misaki fiddled with her fingers as she surveyed the large environment; although she never grew up in this mansion, it still felt like a large wave of nostalgia washed over her. During her highschool years, she's been in this humble abode more than her own home back in Miyagi.
She can't help but frown - she left a part of her with these people that treated her like family. Now as she came face to face with the familiar place once again, she felt like a stranger.
Kiyoomi placed his hand on top of her shaking ones, calming her down. "We don't have to go in there if you don't want." He monotonously spoke.
"I want to meet them again." Misaki smiled, comforting the wavy-haired man.
Kiyoomi nodded, bringing her hand up as he placed a kiss on her knuckles. "You'll be alright, love."
"Yeah."
"If my sister does or say anything, let me know. We're leaving in an instant."
The two walked hand in hand up to the front porch steps of the house. After having rang the doorbell, the doors opened and they were met with a maid greeting their entrance. The pair greeted back before Sakusa lightly tugged on Misaki's hand as she followed behind.
"I guess they're all in the table now." Kiyoomi said, noticing the empty place.
Evident chatters became more audible as the pair neared the dining area. Upon stepping through the large arched doorway, they found themselves face to face with a handful of people - literally of three different families. The group didn't notice the pair enter until the two bowed their heads as they greeted along with a "good evening".
The chatter stopped. Misaki slightly trembling in her spot as she slowly lifted her head.
"Kiyoomi! You made it. And you brought a friend." A woman spoke, the voice still as lively as ever. "Why don't you introduce yourself dear-"
"...Misaki-chan?"
The older Sakusa inaudibly gasped as her eyes scanned the familiar face.
Misaki shyly smiled, trembling, before she said, "It's nice to see you again, Sakusa-san."
From the table, Taiyo Sakusa stood from his seat, watching the interaction curiously.
Himaki Sakusa had her hands clasped over her mouth as she walked towards the pair. She opened her arms wide, engulfing the young woman in her arms.
