It was strange being single.... like I really didn't realize how much of a hoe I was until I had the freedom to do whatever the fuck I wanted; I walked my latest victim through the house after a marathon session and suppressed a smile as he walked wobbly out to his car. If I remembered correctly that was the third dude this week that I've dicked down and slutted out and yet I still felt.... incomplete, like I was having fun but it was all meaningless. I walked back into the house and went up to my room and took a long-ass shower; if I was being honest with myself, the reason I kept fuckin so many dudes is because I was missing Kairo, confused about Tarik, and longing for Shane, you wanna talk about being confused imagine what I was going through. The main issue I had with Tarik is that what was supposed to be a one-time thing had been happening damn near every morning; he pulls up around four in the morning and would leave before everyone started getting up for breakfast, or he'd show up in the middle of the night and stay over. Him being my best friend, I never wanted to cross that line but I was addicted to him, and it didn't help that I had five niggas in my ear encouraging my behavior. As easy it would be to blame them, I was a grown man and I needed to get my shyt together and start drawing new boundaries between the dudes in my life.

"You mean to tell me NONE of y'all wanna bring in the New Year with us? I gotta admit, I'm a little hurt." Will said sadly though with him for all we knew was just trying to make us feel bad when in all actuality he had other shyt planned that night. "Now what am I going to do with all those bottles of Sparkling Cider I got.... just gonna go to waste. Ka'Jai you'll be here with me right?" Will asked.

"Uhh.... nah I actually got plans that night." I said Shane had invited me to this party and I really wanted to chill with him so I decided that's what I was going to do that night. "But you're spending Christmas with us, I would've thought Devin would've at least given you New Years off." I said looking at him.

"Devin doesn't make the schedule, I do.... and I wanted to be here for Christmas because I know Devin is going to have a bunch of food and I like to eat.... speaking of Christmas, do you have anyone you wanna invite over for Christmas Dinner?" Will asked and Kairo was the first person I thought of but.... that would only complicate things.

"I'll let you know.... damn Christmas is tomorrow?" I asked looking at my phone, I didn't even realize that it was in less than 24 hours."But look, I need to use the car.... I should only be gone for a few hours." I said and Will pointed to the book and then smacked Nayquinn on the back of the neck as he was walking by, which of course led to them arguing then them wrestling in the living room.

The first stop on my trip was literally right down the street, I wanted to check on Vinciano, since he had arrived and I learned of the hell he had been through, I was tasked with helping him with his studies. Living through the hell he's been through, he didn't have time for school so he was far behind everyone else, I walked inside and Montello was sitting on the couch with a smirk on his face, his knuckles were bleeding but he seemed extremely proud of himself.

"Ayy my brothers over there?" Montello asked and I shook my head. "Let me guess, Piru and Supreme?" He asked and I nodded, Montello shook his head and I walked up the stairs where there was a trail of blood leading to one of the bedrooms, I didn't have to guess to know the blood belonged to Roland. His racist ass has been getting beat the fuck up damn near every day since he arrived, I walked to Vinciano's room and knocked before walking in; he was sitting on his bed reading The Art of War and I was impressed because that was some intense reading.

"You know I'm not an idiot right...." He said smiling at the look on my face. "Just because I don't have a formal education doesn't mean I'm stupid. But there, I finished most of them...." He said pointing to the stack of books on his desk. "I'll be over later to get some more." Vinciano said and I nodded, now that I was finished here... there were two more stops on my list.
