Fear and panic ripped through me as Supreme laid there bleeding out, I didn't know what to do; I didn't want to leave him but I knew we couldn't stay there... the only thing that came to my mind was to start hitting the horn and seconds later the door opened and Anjo walked out looking annoyed. I waved him over and he stomped over to us, I couldn't tell you what I said to him, I just started rambling and he quickly went to work; the next thing I knew we were surrounded by people, the ambulances, then police.... I stood off to the side in a state of shock, not really knowing what I could do, dried up blood covered my hands and was all over my clothes but I just kept watching and waiting. I didn't move, even when Ashanti walked over to me and tried to bring me into the house I stood in the same exact spot with a blank expression on my face, wondering how and why this had happened. It wasn't until Piru pulled up with Marcelino that I snapped out of my daze, Marcelino ran over to me and pulled me towards Piru's car... without having to say a word my brother knew exactly what I needed at that point and that was to be with Supreme.

"Mauricio, you need to stand back and let them do their job." Marcelino said pulling me back because I was trying to make sure Supreme was alright, his eyes fluttered a little and that gave me a small spark of hope but still, I was trying to understand what the fuck happened.

"What happened?" Piru asked pulling me further away from the scene, he seemed nervous around the police, and given his history, I could understand why he was so damn jumpy but he was asking me like I knew.

"He just showed up here like that.... I don't even know how he managed to drive, where he was coming from, or.... all he told me was that he got jumped and after that he....." I couldn't finish, not because I was in shock but because a memory from earlier was starting to play in my head.

"But uhh.... there's something I need to tell you..... something I need to confess to and I know when I tell you what I did you'll probably hate me forever but I......" Ja'Koda said, he had been unable to meet my eyes when he told me that, what if he was the one who set Supreme up? Even as the thought crossed my mind, it quickly vanished, Ja'Koda was a lot of things but I don't think he was capable of doing some shyt like that, he'd fight one on one before jumping someone, especially someone he once considered a friend.

"You going up to the hospital? We should probably go up there to make sure.... and it makes more sense for you to go." I said looking at Piru, I knew Piru hadn't changed his address so he could easily say that he was Supreme's roommate since on their IDs they had the same address. I hated hospitals but I needed to make...... "Hold on.... y'all go ahead, I'll meet you up there." I said walking back towards the house.

"Mauricio? Bro, I know you... you got that look in your eyes, where are you going?" Marcelino asked walking over to me... I couldn't meet his eyes, because he would try to convince me that I needed to go up to the hospital with Supreme. "Mauricio, you're covered in blood.... you gotta get cleaned up and go up to the hospital to make sure your dude is alright." Marcelino said.

"I told you I'd be up there, I just need to check on something...." I said waving him off. Marcelino stared at me for a second, I couldn't stay here so I walked off and left him standing there, I could feel his eyes burning into the back of my head, but I was on a mission and wouldn't be deterred by the angel on my shoulder.

It took me no time at all to find Ja'Koda.... he was at my cousin's place and from the looks of it none of them knew what was going on, they just sat around smoking, eating pizza, and watching Scary Movie. Trell nodded towards me and Ja'Koda threw up his hand but didn't turn to me, this nigga must think shyt is sweet... I could put two and two together, he said he did something that I wouldn't be able to forgive and then my dude turns up stabbed up, I didn't believe in coincidences.
