I tried to keep my cool because right now my blood was starting to boil, I didn't fuck with Ja'Koda especially after that fight at the twin's cousin's place, and even though Ja'Koda apologized seeing him still put me in attack mode. I couldn't even begin to fathom why Quincy was here but after that shyt he pulled with Ka'Jai and Kairo, I didn't fuck with him either, it was proven that he was a known snake ass nigga and if he would do that shyt to his cousin I know he'd have no problem stabbing some random nigga in the back. I looked over at Shannon and she instantly picked up on my growing rage and motioned for me to follow her upstairs, Eddie who was completely oblivious to his surroundings was already kissing all over Bubbles and ignoring Ja'Koda and Quincy. We got up to her bedroom and I clenched and unclenched my fist ten times, a little anger management trick I learned in jail... it didn't work for shyt but it was worth a shot. I watched Shannon closely and waited for her to speak first because I was still figuring out the correct words to use; let me be clear, I wasn't worried about her fuckin other people because not even an hour ago I was literally about three seconds away from fuckin my old cellmate, my issue was her being around these specific niggas.
"I know what you're going to say; you're probably going to bring up the fight and tell me that I shouldn't trust them but Ja'Koda is really coo.... we've been talking for a few weeks trying to understand each other and he's apologized, life is too short to hold grudges." Shannon said. "I get it... you still don't trust me." Shannon said.
"It's not you I don't trust you... I don't trust them niggas, I just..... I don't want anything to happen to you. One of my biggest fears is coming over here and..... there's so much violence against transwomen that it scares me to see you around niggas who I've seen put their hands on you and Quincy.... he's shady as fuck so seeing him here my guard instantly goes up. I just want you to be safe." I said quietly.
"You think I don't take precautions?" Shannon said revealing a small .22, I looked at her and smiled, though my fears were still there. "It's cute that you're so protective of me, but I know how to protect myself.... now can we please get back downstairs? From the looks of it Eddie and Tali (Bubblez) are probably going to be on their way up here and it would be rude to leave my guest unintended." Shannon said walking over to me, she grabbed my face gently and tried to kiss me but I pulled away.
"I uhh.... I was just with someone and I....." Before I could finish her tongue was in my mouth and my hands were firmly grippin her ass, See this is what I loved about Shannon, she wasn't the jealous type, we had an understanding between us and she didn't trip on the shyt I did when we weren't together..... but that was my problem, now that I knew Liandro was out my time was going to be split between the two of them and I didn't know where that was going to leave us in the future.
We got back downstairs and Eddie was heading up, I swear I was convinced he didn't even realize that there were other people in the room because when he got horny, he had a one-tracked mind. I sat down as far away from Ja'Koda and Quincy as possible as they started up a conversation about some party and after listening intently I realized they were talking about that same party Eddie had mentioned earlier, just fuckin great... now I knew that they were going to be there I might just skip it.
"Are you coming to the Happy Que Year's Party?" Shannon asked and I shrugged, I wasn't sure if I wanted to be around these two niggas, but on the other hand, I didn't want to leave them alone with Shannon either. "Denzel you know you're going to be there, stop acting like that." Shannon said swatting my arm.
"I'm still deciding but I'll let you know.... but it's getting late." I said dropping a not so subtle hint that it was time for these two niggas to go. Ja'Koda and Quincy looked at each other and decided it wasn't worth an argument so they mumbled quiet agreements and started gathering their stuff. "Before you cuss me out for kicking them niggas out of your house, I came over here because I was horny and they were blocking." I said smirking.
