Real shyt.... I actually had fun this weekend, there was no real drama that I could see and I didn't kill Nayquinn or Shymal which is in my book a win for everyone. We got back around midday on Sunday and everyone went off to do their own thing; Marcelino and Mauricio went off with Montello, Calvin and Izaia dipped off somewhere together, Shymal went home, while Nayquinn and Shooter went out back to play some basketball. Since it was still pretty early I decided to call my boy Eddie and we decided to link up with Shannon and Bubblez, as I started getting ready I noticed Ka'Jai sulking in his room... The look on his face said 'leave it alone' so I wasn't going to pry, I texted Hazel and Myzel before walking downstairs and I heard the staff having a meeting. Okay, I decided to be nosy so I moved towards the door and listened in on their conversation, apparently they were opening up the other group home sooner than they anticipated before Christmas in fact which made me a little nervous because that was more people I'd have to deal with.
"Denzel come here real quick." Will said and I walked into the office like I wasn't just standing out there listening to their conversation. "How was y'alls trip?" Will asked and I shrugged. "You and Nayquinn didn't fight did y'all?" He asked.
"Surprisingly no.... he's actually coo as fuck when he's not around Raynard and Onyx, well I can tolerate him." I said looking around the room. "Now I'm not saying that we're going to be best friends or anything but I think we've come to an understanding."
"Well, that's good.... I was tired of y'all fuckin up the house. But tomorrow I want y'all all here at five, I'm having some people come over for y'all to meet.... you're still interested in becoming a photographer, right?" Devin asked and I nodded, I wanted to be a specific type of photographer and when I told Devin he said he'd help me out so I'm willing to bet that it had something to do with that.
"Umm I gotta go meet up with my brother and sister.... so I'll umm, I'll be back a little later." I lied before signing out and damn near running for the door. Thankfully one of the cars was still here because I didn't want to have to wait for Eddie's punk ass. I drove to Eddie's house and he was sitting on the porch with his big ass dogs.
"I saw that you were having a good as time with your new friends." Eddie said and I couldn't telling if he was joking or serious. "Relax, you gotta live with that nigga Nayquinn so I understand why you did it... but you're my boy so I feel it's only right that I tell you..... I'll never be coo with them niggas especially that nigga Raynard, the rumors about him killing my cousin are just too....." Eddie said.
"You're my boy and I would never put you in that situation.... I really don't fuck with them niggas either but I'm just trying to make my time in that group home as peaceful as possible, as for Raynard.... you know it's still on sight every time I see that nigga." I said and Eddie nodded. "So did I miss anything while I was away?" I asked and Eddie nodded. "Care to elaborate?" I asked.
"I was over there with Bubblez and that weed dude was over there.... from the looks of it he really likes Shannon but she's not interested, for some strange reason she's only got eyes for your ugly ass." Eddie said and that shyt made me smile, I kinda figured that the weed man liked Shannon but I wasn't sure if she felt the same way. "But I called and let them know we were on the way so we should probably get going."
"I gotta go pick up Myzel, I promised I'd introduce him to Shannon so I need to get that out of the way." I said and I'm not going to lie I was nervous, sure Myzel already knew about Shannon but this was the first time he was meeting her and I know my brother tended to have a reckless mouth and would ask some crazy ass questions.
"There's something else.... you know that incident that caused you to get locked up, well from what I'm hearing those dudes have regrouped and some of them are looking for you." Eddie said and while that should make me nervous, I welcomed the altercation... it's been a while since I was involved in a good old fashion brawl.....
"It's about damn time nigga I'm hungry as fuck." Myzel said sliding into the backseat and the first thing I noticed was the black eye he had, my blood started boiling and my trigger finger started itching. "I'll tell you later." Myzel said and I nodded, we pulled off and I gave him the rundown on how to address Shannon, the closer we got to Shannon's house the more nervous I became because I knew my little brother.
"Myzel please don't say anything reckless." I said when Eddie got out of the car and walked up to the house. "I'm serious don't fuck this up for me.... now what happened to your fuckin eye?" I asked.
"There was a little altercation at the mall yesterday, I saw that nigga Onyx and he started running his mouth talkin about how he knocked you out and how the next time he saw you he was going to beat your ass." Myzel said and I bit my tongue because I was about to say something that he didn't need to hear.
"So Onyx gave you the black eye." I asked tapping the steering wheel.
"Nah Raynard did, I was whoopin that nigga Onyx's ass and Raynard jumped in.... I would like to tell you that I whooped both of their asses but I didn't the numbers overwhelmed me." Myzel said and I nodded, that's all I needed to hear... I was going to enjoy today with my girl and then tomorrow I was going to find Onyx and Raynard's asses and beat the fuck outta them. "Y'all niggas play too much, ain't no way in hell them is niggas!" Myzel said as Eddie walked out with Shannon and Bubblez.
"Myzel, chill the fuck out bro..." I said growing irritated with my brother, obviously he wasn't listening to shyt I had to say.
"What? That was a compliment, I'm just saying they look like women." Myzel said.
"They are women, now shut the fuck up they're about to get in the car." I said as Shannon got in the passenger seat while Eddie and Bubblez got in the backseat with Myzel. "Wassup, you never texted me back last night." I said looking at Shannon and trying to control the lust that was burning in my eyes.
"It's kinda hard to respond to a drunk text, especially when it's incoherent." Shannon said smirking.
"Nah he's just slow, wassup I'm Myzel... Denzel's little brother since his rude ass seemed to forget that I was back here." Myzel said and I had decided that I only needed one brother and since Vonzel was a baby I could mold him into a less annoying person than Myzel.
"Denzel why didn't you introduce me to this cutie." Shannon said and the look on Myzel's face made me want to rip his eyes out. The entire drive to Myzel entertained Shannon and Bubblez with tales of my most embarrassing moment, honestly I still wanted to beat his ass but at least he wasn't being disrespectful towards them.
"So are you staying with me tonight?" Shannon asked once we finished eating, we were standing outside the house and as badly as I wanted to stay with her.... Myzel needed me tonight. "I get it, you wanna spend some time with your little brother.... he's charming." Shannon said laughing to herself and I knew she was thinking about one of Myzel's many lame jokes.
"Yeah he's a pain in my ass but I'll make it up to you, this weekend I'm all yours. Bubblez gotta go though because I plan on doing some romantic shyt and you know her and Eddie tend to wanna compete with us." I said grabbing her hand. "Plus we gotta make this official and I wanna do that in a more romantic setting." I said kissing her. We left Shannon's house and after we dropped Eddie off we went back to Myzel's dad house, we walked inside and I was happy that it was spotless in here because the way my OCD was set up I would've been pissed.
"She was coo as fuck....." Myzel said sitting down on the couch and I walked over to him and tried to check his eye but he swatted my hand away. "Chill, we can decide how we're going to get back at them niggas another day but right now you owe me D'.... I was completely respectful to your girl and in return, I want the truth..... What happened, I want you to tell me what happened that led to you getting locked up." Myzel said looking into my eyes.
"Aight man but it's a gruesome story and you might look at me differently once you find out what happened." I said sitting on the couch next to him.
"D' you're my big brother.... if you dating a tran... transwoman has changed my opinion of you there's almost nothing that will so keep it real with me, what happened?" Myzel said and I took a deep breath and began to tell my little brother about the darkest day in my life.
