I really wasn't in any rush to get to Raynard, now I could've easily let Taryl handle this small situation but sometimes you just had to remind people just who the fuck you were. I pulled up next to Taryl who stood outside his car ready for anything, sometimes I felt like turning everything over to him but he was too blood hungry and I knew that if I let that happen he'd turn Seattle into a warzone, so it was better for everyone if I remained in control if only for a few more months. I got out and walked over to him, though my mind should be on what was going on in front of me, I couldn't stop thinking about Mauricio.... that dude really fucked up my head and I really needed to focus. I dapped Taryl up and he pointed to a group of dudes who were at the basketball court shooting around and I instantly spotted Raynard because even though they were playing basketball he was flashiest one, that dude brought way too much attention to himself and I was starting to wonder why Taryl recruited him in the first place. When they saw us coming, Raynard bitched up, I could see that from here.... another reason I questioned Taryl's judgment on this pick, the four dudes looked at us and I examined each one; the one with the dreads seemed uncomfortable, Raynard couldn't meet my eyes, the third one seemed to be struggling to keep his eyes from wandering below my waist and the fourth seemed to have the most heart out of all of them.... interesting.

"Ayy wassup Supreme, I was just coming to see you." Raynard said and I could tell I was the last person he expected to see today. "I got your money in the car, I'll go get it...." He said his voice trembling a little.

"That's interesting, because from what I was hearing you were saying that you were shorting me my money on purpose and that you had no intention of paying me in full, so here's what we'll do because I had to come out of my way to collect my money let's add another ten percent for an inconvenience fee.... Also, another ten percent for getting Taryl worked up." I said and I could see he was about to object but the look Taryl gave him changed all of that quickly.

"I'll walk you to your car...." Taryl said walking off with Raynard leaving me with the other three dudes, one of the dudes kept eyeing me and I was starting to get pissed because I found it extremely disrespectful.

"Problem?" I asked looking at him and he stepped up, see I really didn't want to hurt one of these little niggas today but he was really trying my patience. "What's your name, little dude?" I asked electing to defuse the situation before it spiraled out of control.

"Nayquinn..... I think you knew my sister, Naya." He said and it took me a second but then it clicked.

"Yeah, I remember Naya.... it's fucked up what happened to her." I said shaking my head, I was outta town when I got the news that Naya and her boyfriend Austen were murdered. I wasn't really close with them like that but we chilled a few times because of my line of work. "So, you're staring at me because I knew your sister?" I asked and he shrugged.

"Can we talk?" He asked and I had to admit I was starting to like this kid, I could see it in his eyes that he was different from the rest of his friends; them little dudes were some straight punks the one with the dreads still hadn't met my eyes and the other one, I'd bet my house and entire life savings that if I were to pull him to the side he'd try to suck my dick.... I knew a hoe when I see one and dude was definitely giving off 'I'll suck the whole team' vibes.

"Wassup?" I asked as me and Nayquinn walked a short distance away.

"Put me on.... look I've been selling with Raynard for about two weeks and that nigga don't know what the fuck he's doing, that's my boy and everything but he's sloppy and I'm trying to stack up some money to get the fuck outta this group home." He said and I stared at him for a minute, was it possible that he lived in the same group home as Mauricio? I mean I remember Piru's Party Mauricio had brought some of the dudes he lived with but I don't remember Nayquinn being there, maybe I needed to do a little digging before I gave him an answer.
