Banished

You had been banished from the land, you made one mistake, one that you didn't even know that you could make. With anger coursing your system, mixed with a touch of fear, you had frozen over an entire street in LA. Luckily, it was late at night and anyone who was out at that hour hadn't seen it happen.

The lords above, however, had taken notice of this and had cast you out onto the ocean, your body lying on a piece of wood of some sort, your legs hanging in the water. Your vision was blurred as you stared up at the grey clouds above you.

Rain had just started to drip upon your features, you opened your mouth desperate for the smallest amount of water. The drops of rain, barely enough to keep you insane. You inhaled deeply before letting out a mighty scream, your throat catching as you did so but you kept screaming.

You hadn't even noticed that the harder you screamed and the more tears that fell from your eyes the more ice that formed around you, like a plate, slowly freezing over the saltwater waves. You just closed your eyes and continued to let out your anger, your fear, your everything.

"Stop Y/n." You heard his voice, the one that caused your mistake in the first place. "Stop yourself, you will be punished if you succeed in your actions." He warns.

"I don't even know what I'm doing!" You growled.
"You have powers, just like I, Y/n you are so bloody powerful and you don't even see it. Don't you see that's why we're drawn to each other?" He yelled, his voice close but far all at once.

"Go away, get out of my head!" You yelled, the ice continuing to spread.

"I'm not in your head, Y/n, open your eyes, open your eyes!" He shouts getting closer and finally you open your eyes, bolting upright, cold ice under your fingers as you realize what you'd been doing. Your E/C eyes lit up as you spot him in the distance trying to make his way to you.

You jumped up naturally able to run across the ice without an issue. You make it to his side, his brooding stare turned concerned as he looks over your face.

"You need to stop this, soon it will reach land and father will not hesitate to rid of you." He places his hand to your cheek, his British accent calming you.
"I don't know how I'm doing it, I don't know how to stop it." You ramble.
"I'm so sorry." Lucifer mumbles.

"What?" You shout of a high pitch ringing that started echoing through your head.
"I'm so sorry!' He shouts pulling you into him and you expect his embrace, his warmth in the middle of this iced over world the only thing you needed to exist.

That was before you felt a sharp pain shot in every direction of your body as something plunged into your back. You gasped, blood rising into your throat. Lucifer doesn't allow you to step back and look at the dagger sticking from your chest, instead, your life slowly drains from you as you rely more and more on him to keep your upright.

"I promise it will not be scary for long, you will find your way through the dark." You hadn't the slightest clue what Lucifer meant by this but you hadn't the time to consider it as your eyes glassed over and your heart ceased to beat.

...

When you woke, you lay on a dark plain, unable to see anything that wasn't three feet in front of you and even as you ran, nothing revealed itself, just more darkness, an endless void of lifeless nothing.

Your body banished to the ocean.

Your soul banished to darkness.

And slowly, you went insane, unknowing of what was left, right, forward or back, you simply lost your mind.

And that was the end of you.

I feel as if my writing has gone down in quality... do you guys feel that? Please let me know if it is so I can improve it again.
