"Do you, Y/N Y/L, take Edward Marlon as you lawfully wedded husband..." You'd been waiting to hear those words for the last four years, yet something seemed to stop you from replying... perhaps it was nerves, or the hundred people watching them up at the altar. Or maybe just the one pair of puppy brown eyes, boring into yours.
"No, she doesn't." The man dares to speak up, your sister Chloe glares at him.
"What?" Everyone questions including yourself, you husband looking between the two of you.
"He doesn't mean that." Chloe intervenes.
"Oh he... as in I, do because you're beautiful and I am not going to let some mortal take you from my grasps." The man steps forth, in front of your husband and takes you by the hand. He leans forth and places a sensual kiss upon your knuckles.
"Lucifer Morningstar, stopping you from making the worst decision of your life, at your service." Lucifer shares a meek smile with you before quickly being swung around and punched square in the jaw. He barely flinches.
The anger in your fiancé's eyes turning into fear as he looks back at Lucifer. You had no idea what happened, what he saw but something made him terrified to the point of wetting his 200$ suit.
"I'm.... I'm sorry dude.... You can.... You can have her." Edward shuddered causing the crowd to gasp.
"I won't have anyone, I will not own her, I will cherish and treat her like the queen that she so obviously is..." Lucifer growls. "That is, if she will accept my offer? Come out with me? Come for drive? I'll show you the world." You looked between him and Chloe who looked shocked.
"Yeah..." You answered completely ready to go off and experience this stranger for exactly that reason, she had no idea who he was. "But I got to take care of a few things first..." Your expression dropped as you turned back to Edward, impersonating Lucifer's dark voice.
"You're in for a hell of treat..."
