Just Kidding (p.t 2)

"Lucifer? What are you doing back here?"
"Is she still here Detective?" Lucifer stormed into the room seemingly panicked.

"No, she left some while ago... quite upset actually." Chloe shut the front door watching Lucifer cautiously.

"Upset? Shit..." He slams his fist into the wall putting a giant hole in it.
"Lucifer!" Chloe shouted.
"I shouldn't have tried to cover it up..." He panics.
"No, I wouldn't have recommended it." Chloe sits with him on the couch.

"What do I do? I've never had to deal with this sort of thing before?" Lucifer places his head in his hands.
"You'll have to find her... that is if you haven't scared her silly." Chloe leans back knowing exactly what she was doing.
"Scare her?"

"Well... no matter the devil or not you've always complained about love... she might call a priest on you." Chloe steals your idea from before.
"A priest... she wouldn't?" Lucifer's eyes widened.
"Oh I don't know... she seemed pretty terrified when she came by." Chloe edged him closer to his resolution.
"No... I scared her... no... I- I never want to do such a thing."

"and did you ever consider she's been crushing on you and you've just broken her heart."
"No!" He choked.
"Then why did you tell her you love her!" Chloe shouted harshly.
"Because I do love her, I love her so much." He erupted.

"Lucifer?" You shook as you walked into the lounge room cautiously

"Oh... Y/n... Hi." He jumped up from his sofa trying to discretely wipe tears from his eyes.
"Are you crying?" You jaw dropped in shock.

"Um... no." For the devil he was a terrible liar.
"What's wrong?" You walked forward swiping the tears from his face.

"I ... I love you." He repeated his statement. You approached him with a warm smile across your features.
"Well that's nothing to cry about." You giggled. "I love you too you silly goose." You leaned up and pecked his lips.
"What? How? I don't..." Lucifer processed what you had said and became more confused as you had said it so simply. "Don't you hate me for lying?" Lucifer furrowed his brows.
"You broke me completely." You smirked.
"So... how are you... Why are you... just..."

"I understand now you weren't ever kidding, and you were just scared." Your smirk grew. "Because as much as the devil doesn't have the reputation of admitting their love for someone, crying is much higher on that list." You smiled widely pulling him back into a passionate kiss.

"I love you darling." You impersonated him.
