Chapter 9 - destiny

— your POV —

-Y/n: "So, what do you want?", im still levitating in the air and he stood on the roof of the headquarter.
-Salamon: "We want to revenge Thanos. He wanted to create a better Universe. Some place where even you would've been accepted, loved. But he told you that himself. It's a pity that you didn't follow him."
-Y/n: "I didn't win, neither did I lose. Not like you."
-Salamon: "He raised an Era. Even if you can defeat us today, tomorrow there will be other enemies you have to fight against. Can you do that?"
-Y/n: "It's a Mission."
-Salamon: "This is the last opportunity for you to change your side."
-Y/n: "You know, they are kinda funny. I'll stay for a while."
-Salamon: "Then it shall be your destiny to fight against us for the rest of your meaningless life, amongst people that don't know nor want you."
-Y/n: "Won't be anything new."

I turn my hair and eyes pitch black again. I take a look to the Avengers, the side I have chosen to fight for, just to see if they know what's going to happen in the next seconds. They seem ready, so I turn back to Salamon.

-Tony: "Winter, your mission is to kill him."

He flew up to me and I nodded. Salamon is trying to leave. He opened a portal and goes through it. I follow him quickly and I manage to get through it too. When I looked around, I noticed that I'm on Svartalfheim. But I also noticed that there are thousands of dark elves and Easiks surrounding me.

-Y/n: "Try me, bitch."

I turned everything black around them, so that they can't see anyone or anything. Then the eyes of them also turned pitch black.

-Salamon: "What did you do to them?", he was the only one who I didn't manipulate.
-Y/n: "If you'd knew everything of me, it would be boring."

I pointed with the finger to Salamon and everyone started attacking him. The screams of death are like music to my ears. I smile during the whole process. When Salamon was dead I told them to attack each other. More and more screams come into my ear. Blood was all over the place. When just two of them survived, I manipulated one to go and tell everyone who tries to fight against the Avengers will end up just as Salamon. He quickly ran away, his whole body shaking. It brought a smile to my face, again.

I killed the other one who was left with my dagger. Blood ruined my dress, but I didn't care. I let him bleed out in front of me and I forced him to look into my eyes while he did that. When he was dead I got in one of the spaceships that where left from the fight between Thor and the dark elves. I can't believe I return to them. I told myself, but a mission is a mission. I finally arrived at their headquarter and they were still fighting against the Easiks.

-Y/n: "Need help?", I'm floating above them.

I then knocked the rest of them out and got back to the ground. My hair and my eyes got back to normal.

-Loki: "You returned."
-Clint: "Why the hell did you come back?", I had to let out a little laughter at his comment.
-Y/n: "I have a Mission and I'll successfully finish it.", I looked at Loki who also looked at me.
-Natasha: "Welcome to the Avengers."
-Tony: "Excuse you?! Shouldn't we talk about this first?", he was shocked.
-Natasha: "We kept them as prisoners and they still helped us. They could've just escaped, used this as a distraction, but they helped."
-Loki: "They?", he asked carefully.
-Thor: "Yes, you too brother.", Thor laid his hands on Loki's shoulders and smiled.
-Steve: "Natasha is right."
-Tony: "You too?", he looked around and everyone was looking at him, including me, "Urgh fine, but don't assume that I'll trust you."
-Y/n: "I'll finish this mission and when I'm done I'll disappear again, don't worry."
-Tony: "Good."
-Y/n: "Is this over now? Can I go changing?"
-Steve: "Yes. Natasha will show you two everything. Please come to the conference room when you're done."

I didn't nod, I just walked behind Romanoff and Loki followed me, completely overwhelmed by this situation.
