Chapter 30 - death

— your POV —

I attacked Selene while the rest is busy with Ares and his Soldiers.

-Selene: "You can't win against us, you've always been the weak one."
-Y/n: "Shut the fuck up and fight.", she threw me on the floor.
-Selene: "But we've never fought fair.", she came towards me.
-Y/n: "We fought one time against each other, the rest was against poor people just because you had fun doing it."
-Selene: "You had your fun too, don't lie to me.", she picked me up from the ground.
-Y/n: "I just had fun doing something with my sister, besides you never told me on which side we were fighting.", I got away from her grip.
-Selene: "You could've lived such a good life, on the winner side, everyone fears you, that's everything you ever wanted."
-Y/n: "All I ever wanted was to be accepted!", I had enough.

This time I threw her on the ground, then I got on top of her. She never expected me to be like this.

-Selene: "You're too weak, that's one of your weaknesses."
-Y/n: "I'm sorry, I wish it wouldn't have to end like this Selene, but you don't give me another choice.", I look her in the eyes and stab her in her heart.
-Selene: "Just because you're fighting with them does not mean that you're automatically good.", she said with her last breath.

Suddenly a bright light is floating around us. I'm watching it, still sitting on top of her. Then unexpectedly the light floats inside of me. It felt like I couldn't breath but also like new life is coming inside of me. I just heard Ares scream ‚NO!', I know that he is going to attack me, but this is way too beautiful to leave. Then I got attacked by one of his Soldiers and I can see normal again.

-Ares: "What did you do you Bastard!?", he pulled the Soldier away and picked me up from the ground.
-Y/n: "I have had enough of you.", I say with tears in my eyes, but also emotionless.
-Ares: "You are going to die!", he yelled at me and while he did that he spit on my face what was absolutely disgusting.
-Y/n: "If you want to seem threatening don't go straight for death. Describe how you'll torture me. The way you'll destroy everything I stand for.", he looked shocked into my eyes, "Do it"
-Loki: "Y/n no!", he wanted to stop me from whatever I'm doing but I created a shield, made out of black smoke that is moving really fast around us, which I never knew I could.
-Y/n: "You're too weak, right? Selene said it's my weakness, isn't that hilarious?", I had to laugh.
-Ares: "You Are my sister!"
-Y/n: "Wrong, I never was. Selene on the other side was your sister and I killed her without hesitating.", he took his sword and held it onto my throat.
-Peter: "No.", i could hear him saying, almost a whisper.
-Loki: "Don't!"
-Ares: "They would miss you, you know that.", he said, pressing his sword harder against my throat.
-Y/n: "They would be better without me, just do it and look me in the eyes just as I did with Selene.", I said to trigger him even more.
-Ares: "What happened to you?", he broke, I used this to get his sword off of my throat and now I am holding my dagger against his.
-Y/n: "I was alone, not accepted. I had no one except for my missions after I found out that you always lied to me. I was nothing more than a weapon and you two used that. When you would've got what you wanted you would've let me get killed, because you would've been too weak to do it.", more and more tears ran down my cheeks.
-Ares: "You Are a Monster."
-Y/n: "Just as you. That's the only thing that is making us relatives. But don't think This is easy for me."
-Ares: "I Never wanted that it would end in chaos and death."
-Y/n: "You should've thought about your actions before you did them."
-Ares: "And you thought about killing us?"
-Y/n: "Every night.", I whisper in his ear, pulling the knife even harder onto his throat.
-Ares: "Then do it and fulfill your wish.", he said after looking at the dead body of Selene.
-Y/n: "I'm sorry Ares, I wish this could've ended different, but there is so much anger inside of me and I can't control it anymore, but I also don't want to.", I slowly push the dagger into his chest. Even a tear escaped his eyes until he was too weak to hold them open.

I got away from him and let the shield vanish. Everyone is looking at me for a while and then Steve came towards me.

-Steve: "Are you alright?", I laughed hysterical.
-Y/n: "I never was.", I said, looking at the landscape without blinking. He then ran to the body's and Loki came to me.
-Loki: "You ruined your dress with tears.", he said, knowing that I would complain about that later.
-Y/n: "I just killed my siblings and you're worried about a few tears in my dress?"
-Loki: "Watch out!", he pushed me away and I fall on the ground again.

As I look back at him I can see a knife in his belly. It was my dagger. I look at Ares and see that he pulled my dagger out of his chest and threw it at me.

-Ares: "You don't deserve to live.", were his last words.
-Y/n: "HELP ME!!", i scream as everyone wanted to go to Ares, because they didn't see Loki, "You idiot, why did you do it?", I asked, crying and pressing my hand on the wound to make it stop bleeding.
-Loki: "Don't listen to them, ever.", he closed his eyes.
-Steve: "Get him to the infirmary and Peter you go and get Bruce. Come on be quick.", he advised them and then sat down to me, who is still crying.
-Y/n: "I'm not worth all if this."
-Steve: "Yes you Are. No one would've ever been so strong like you."
-Y/n: "I'm a monster Steve! Don't you see it?!"

In that Moment the same thing happened as when Selene died. Bright red glowing lights are floating around and then go inside of me, but instead of a light I see red, everywhere. It vanished by itself. My eyes are in pain and I see blood dropping down on my knees. The next thing I see is black because I passed out.
