Chapter 11 - thunderstorm

— your POV —

I can't sleep, I'm never really able to and I just close my eyes to pretend. Suddenly I hear a thunderstorm. I get out of my bed and walk to the huge window that is there instead of a wall. It rains. I love when it rains. Thank goodness my room is almost at the roof, so its easy for me to get on top of it.

The rain runs down my cheeks and my clothes are completely wet. I stare into the grey sky and sometimes close my eyes. The trees are moving because of the wind and the rain drops from leave to leave. The sound of the rain hitting the ground calms me down. And sometimes can see and hear a thunder over the sky. It's beautiful.

-Loki: "Why are you sitting in the rain?", he stays behind me.
-Y/n: "I like the rain and especially thunderstorms. That's why."
-Loki: "You know it's dangerous. Being on a roof in a thunderstorm.", he sits down next to me.
-Y/n: "Really? Loki Laufeyson, the brother of the god of thunder, is afraid of thunderstorms?", I joked.
-Loki: "I'm not afraid, I just don't like them."
-Y/n: "Tell that yourself more often, maybe you'll believe it sometime."
-Loki: "Why do you like them?", he smiled before he asks me.
-Y/n: "It shows that even nature need to scream sometimes."
-Loki: "What did you mean when you said that you don't have to lose anything?", he looks kinda worried about me.
-Y/n: "It's none-"
-Loki: "None of my business, I understand.", he gets back up and walks away. I get a bad feeling that I've never had before.
-Y/n: "I have no one, Loki.", I said, surprising not just Loki but myself too.
-Loki: "What's about your parents?"
-Y/n: "I don't have parents. My father killed my mother in front of my eyes. After that he gave me to a family on Asgard. I searched for him in the whole universe and when I found him, I killed him. I made sure he suffered.", he sat next to me again.
-Loki: "Wow. Remind me that I never make you angry.", I had to laugh and I saw that he had to smile a bit.
-Y/n: "Be happy. Even if your father just saw Someone to assure peace in you. You could at least live a more or less normal and good life. I got used as a weapon until I became one and now I just care about missions."
-Loki: "In which family you got to live?"
-Y/n: "I'm sure you know them, they were actually really close to you.", I looked into his blue eyes, rain dropping from his hair onto his face.
-Loki: "So you too?"
-Y/n: "Yes. He treated you as a son. I was a slave. Hela pretended we were friends and I believed it. But I'm relieved. Maybe Hela would've won if I didn't noticed it and who knows what would've happened to Asgard or the nine realms or even the universe."
-Loki: "I... I don't know what to say."
-Y/n: "I don't expect you to say anything, but it also doesn't matter."

I stand up and go to the stairs to get back to my room. As I walked inside I saw Loki sitting on my bed, completely dry.

-Y/n: "Yeah no problem, come inside. And please tell me one more time that you're not afraid of thunderstorms.", I said annoyed but then made a joke.
-Loki: "You don't really think I would've sat there, do you?", he smiled.
-Y/n: "Actually not.", I tried to warm my self up because I was freezing.
-Loki: "Wait.", he quickly stood up and came back with a towel.
-Y/n: "I could've get that by myself.", I said annoyed but grabbed it.
-Loki: "It's your fault when you're sitting in the rain."
-Y/n: "Okay Loki, what do you want from me?"
-Loki: "Nothing. I heard something and usually wanted to get you."
-Y/n: "Well, now you know that it was me, so could you go back to your dorm?"
-Loki: "Of course.", he went away.

Why have I told him that? I'm angry at myself. I have to finish this mission as soon as possible. Someone then knocked at my door. Angrily I walk to it and open it with the words ‚Loki I swear to god, just leave me alone' but when I opened it  everything went black.
