Forbidden Love [Loki x reader] (Part 1)

Chapter 44 - human

-- your POV --

I'm waking up from probably a coma and usually I would complain about the light but this time there isn't much light in the room. I look around and see Loki sitting beside on a chair, reading the book I was reading before.

-Loki: "you're awake.", he didn't even look at me.
-Y/n: "What happened?", he put the book away and looked at me.
-Loki: "You couldn't process everything that happened to you."
-Y/n: "Or what they did to me.", Loki nodded a bit.
-Loki: "Do you need anything?"
-Y/n: "Since when do you care about me?", I asked jokingly.
-Loki: "I always cared but not too much."
-Y/n: "Just some water, please."
-Loki: "I also get you the doctor."

He stood up and walked out of the room. Just some seconds later the doctor came inside with Tony and Steve. Wait. I know them, I know their names! I get excited because I have my memories back. I behaved like an idiot when I didn't have them.

-Doctor: "How Are you feeling?"
-Y/n: "Good. It feels like I just woke up from a nap."
-Doctor: "Can you remember anything?"
-Y/n: "I think I have my memories back.", Tony and Steve both looked at me very surprised.
-Doctor: "What makes you think that?"
-Y/n: "I know their names.", I point at Tony and Steve who still can't believe it.
-Doctor: "Tell me their names then."
-Y/n: "The genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist Tony Stark aka Iron Man. And then we have Steve Rogers aka Captain America. Fought in world war 2 against Hydra. Some say that everything that is special about him comes out of a bottle.", I told it as if it was a mission report.
-Doctor: "Very Good. Do you remember anything else?"
-Y/n: "I remember the time when I had no memories at all. That's it I think."
-Doctor: "You seem to be all healthy. It might take some time until her memories come fully back but until then she's free to go.", he talked to Steve and Tony.

The doctor leaves the room and both of them looked at me very serious.

-Tony: "You betrayed us again. Why?", he's as serious as I never knew him.
-Y/n: "I- I don't know yet. You've heard the doctor."
-Steve: "What's going on between you and Loki?", i was surprised about his question.
-Y/n: "Why are you asking?"
-Steve: "He's the only one you wanted around this whole time."
-Y/n: "Yeah and? What's wrong about that?"
-Tony: "Enough, we have more important stuff to do, just as calming Clinton down when he finds out that it'll still take some time until she remembers everything.", he spoke to Steve.
-Y/n: "Will you put me back in my cell?"
-Tony: "You're not dangerous anymore, so you'll get back your room."
-Y/n: "What do you mean with that?"

In that Moment Loki came back inside with some water and fresh clothes for which I didn't even ask him. As he sees Tony and Steve he stops for a second but then continues to walk towards me.

-Y/n: "I didn't ask you for this.", I said surprised.
-Loki: "I just thought that you don't want to walk around in this robe."
-Y/n: "Thanks."
-Loki: "What did the doctor say?"
-Tony: "She should be able to remember everything in a few days.", he answered for me.
-Loki: "Alright but that's not quite the answer to my question.", he turns back to me.
-Y/n: "He said that I'm all healthy again.", I answer him with a little smile on my face.
-Steve: "Can I talk to you for a second?", he asked Loki.

They leave the room and Tony sits down on the chair next to me.

-Tony: "Try to avoid Clint as best as possible. He's really angry at you and if he finds out that you still can't give us any answers, he will probably freak out."
-Y/n: "What will he do? I can remember that I have powers."
-Tony: "Just do me this favour.", I feel like he isn't telling me something.
-Y/n: "What are you not telling me?"

In this moment Steve and Loki came back inside.

-Steve: "Come on we have to tell it to everyone else.", Tony and Steve leave the room.
-Loki: "I should go too."
-Y/n: "Uh okay."

What did Steve say to him? I shook this thought out of my head and got out of the bed to start getting ready. I took the clothes and put them on. After that I got on the way to my room. I'm excited for it because it's definitely more comfortable than the cell. On the way I realise that I haven't got any answers to my questions. Why should I be afraid of Clint? He's just a guy with a bow and arrow and I could kill him the first second he enters a room if I wanted to.

-Natasha: "Being human suits you.", I turn around and see her coming towards me.
-Y/n: "What?"
-Natasha: "I mean now that you don't have your powers anymore, you're practically more of a human than a goddess."

I don't have my powers anymore? I try to hide the shock. That's why he told me to stay away from Clint.

-Y/n: "Well, thank you?", she laughed.
-Natasha: "If you're having any problems just come to me."

With this words she goes away. I hurry up to get even quicker to my room to proof if my powers are gone or if they're just lying to me. Why should they lie to me? I finally reach my room, god it feels good to be in here again. The first thing that I do is trying to create the black smoke which I always did. At first I could just create a little "ball" but it disappeared a few seconds later. I keep trying, but nothing happened afterwards. I get really frustrated. How will I ever survive without my powers?
