Forbidden Love [Loki x reader] (Part 1)

Chapter 16 - attacked

-- Loki's POV --

I watch her screaming her soul out of her body, crying as if she would be in her worst nightmare. I'm sorry. I whisper like an idiot. Just give me a hint where you could be. I don't even know why I am talking to her as if she could hear me, I think that's stupid, but I still hope that she can hear me.

Nothing happened obviously, she just continued screaming and crying. I sighed but also continued watching her. I don't know if I'm still waiting for a sign or if I do this as a punishment for not being able to safe her.

Suddenly she screamed a name. I immediately ran out of the conference room and try to gather everyone. They did what I said after a while and with suspicious thoughts, but at least they did something. When everyone was in the "living room" I told them what I know.

-Loki: "I think I know where Y/n is.", I said heavily breathing.
-Tony: "You want us to believe you? Just like that? How do you know?"
-Loki: "She screamed the name of Laufey.", I tried to say calmly.
-Strange: "No wait. Why should we believe him?"
-Loki: "Go on, watch the recording and waste time or instead get ready and we fly to Jotunheim to kill Laufey and get Y/n."
-Clint: "We can't trust him."
-Thor: "Yes we can.", I was surprised by his answer.
-Steve: "How do you know that? You said it yourself that everything what he is doing could be a trick."
-Thor: "You don't trust him, but trust me instead."
-Natasha: "Okay. Who is for watching the recordings?"

Tony, Clint, Strange, Vision and Bruce lift their hand. Then she asked who wants to go to Jotunheim. Thor, Steve, Wanda, Natasha, Bucky and I are lifting our hands.

-Natasha: "So we are going to Jotunheim."
-Tony: "Fine!", he was really annoyed.
-Steve: "Then let's get ready. We meet at the spaceship.", he told the others.

They leave but Thor stays with me. He is smiling at me and walking slowly towards the door.

-Thor: "You like her.", he says in a stupid, high Voice.
-Loki: "I don't like her.", I answered annoyed.
-Thor: "Alright, then explain why you were watching her again."
-Loki: "I like seeing her in pain. I love how patient the persons are who kidnapped her. I would've killed her already and missed all the fun.", I lie while going towards him.

I can see his confusion in his face and if I'm not wrong a little bit of fear. He nods and goes away.

Finally everyone has arrived at the spaceship. It is hers that we're flying with. It feels weird being inside of it again. I imagine her. The time she was changing because she thought no one was there. It's a pity that she noticed me, to be honest. I get torn out of my mind, because the spaceship has started. While we're flying no one says anything. I kinda like the silence. It shows me that there is some tense between them and I like it.

Finally we arrived on Jotunheim. We got out of that spaceship and were ready to fight immediately, but no one was there. It was really silent, way too silent if you're asking me. Thor and I are looking at each other.

-Thor: "Alright, be silent. If we get to Laufey without any fights, he wouldn't see us coming.", he told everyone.

So that's what we did and it actually worked. Laufey wasn't prepared for another visit and we could reach his palace very easily.

-Steve: "I don't think that it's a good sign that we're not finding any frost giants."
-Tony: "It could be a trap."
-Thor: "Loki, please tell me it's not a trap."
-Loki: "I swear it's not."

We're going even further into the palace and then we suddenly heard screams. We look at each other, nodded and wanted to go towards the screams, but before we were able to do that, we got attacked by a lot of frost giants.

-Steve: "We can handle them. Go!", he advised us.

So we let Steve, Natasha and Clint fight against them and the rest is following the screams. Shortly before we go into a room, where the screams are so loud that it hurts my heart, we got surrounded by frost giants.

-Thor: "Loki, go get her!", he yelled at me while we were fighting against them.
-Tony: "No. You're staying here."
-Thor: "He didn't lead us into a trap. Now let him get her."
-Tony: "No way."

They started to fight against each other, but then the wizard stopped them. He told me to go and that's what I did, but I left an illusion of me there, so that no one notices.
