Chapter 23 - distraction

— your POV —

-Natasha: "Okay, what do you want to talk about?", she asked me after a short silence and with a kind of fake smile on her face.
-Y/n: "You are an assassin too?"
-Natasha: "Yes I am."
-Y/n: "Why did you stay with them?"
-Natasha: "A long time ago Clint had the task to kill me, because I was too dangerous for Shield. But instead he wanted to give me a second chance and introduced me to Fury. He also wanted to give me a new chance and that's how I became an Avenger."
-Y/n: "Clint? Trying to kill you? Wow, I would've loved to see that. But are you two a couple or...?"
-Natasha: "Oh god no. He actually has a wife and two children."
-Y/n: "Seems like he archived everything in life."

I stared out of the window and it started to rain. I watched the raindrops gliding down the car window. When we arrived we quickly went inside and tried to not get too wet, but that didn't really work. We both got pretty wet.

-Y/n: "I had fun, Natasha. I'm not saying that often but thank you."
-Natasha: "I knew you just needed some time to trust us.", she said with a smile and walked away.

Am I just like her? Do I want to stay on Midgard? Thousand of questions are going through my head right now. I didn't watch out of my surroundings so I walk straight into someone.

-Steve: "Hey watch out where you're going.", he said after making sure that I'm okay.
-Y/n: "Oh god, I'm so sorry."
-Steve: "Is everything alright?", why is he so good at figuring out my emotions?
-Y/n: "Uh, yeah, yeah I'm totally fine."
-Steve: "Did you have fun with Nat?"
-Y/n: "I actually did."
-Steve: "I'm glad.", he lays his hand on my shoulder and looks into my eyes.
-Y/n: "I have to go, I need to change."
-Steve: "Would it be a problem if I'd walk with you?"
-Y/n: "No, but you just came from there, didn't you?", I asked him while we walked to my dorm.
-Steve: "I actually wanted to talk to you."
-Y/n: "About what?"
-Steve: "We all know that you want to go away from here as soon as possible, but I wanted to ask you if you're sure about that. I mean Laufey didn't fight us and as far as I know he wasn't even there when we tried to save you. It could be dangerous for you all alone. He got you once he can get you a second time."
-Y/n: "I'm honoured for your worries about me, but let that be my problem, ok?"
-Steve: "You know I can't do that."
-Y/n: "If it would calm you down a bit, I'm thinking about staying on Midgard. Not here but I don't know, explore the world.", we arrived at my dorm and I locked up the door and walk inside, turn around and continue to talk with Rogers, who is standing in front of the door.
-Steve: "What did change your mind?"
-Y/n: "I don't know. Maybe I'm just done being the weapon I got raised to be.", he smiled.
-Steve: "I let you change now. Good Night."
-Y/n: "Good night."

I close the door and hurried up, because it was almost time to meet Loki. I don't want to screw this up. I need to get off my mind and he seems to be a pretty good distraction. I put on the green lingerie that I bought just for him, if you want so. And over this I put on some ugly sweatpants and a black shirt. I think that's good enough for no one to think what I'm about to do in the next few hours.

I then headed to Loki's dorm because it was already 9 pm. As I walk down the hallway no one seems to be around. I walk around the corner, where Loki's dorm is and see that he's currently talking with Thor. Because I don't want him to suspect anything I hide behind the edge and listen to their conversation.

-Thor: "I'm happy for you brother."
-Loki: "And why is that?"
-Thor: "You know exactly why. You hate celebrations but you still showed up yesterday. You also hate it to dance but you did it with Y/n. I'm not blind and I know you."
-Loki: "This is none sense. I showed up at that stupid party because I didn't have to do anything else at this boring house and I danced with her because I also was drunk."
-Thor: "You know the people down here say that whatever you're doing when your drunk are just the actions that you don't do when you're sober."
-Loki: "I'm telling you this since we met her. I do not like her. End of the story."
-Thor: "Alright."

Thor goes into my direction. I quickly acted like I was just about to go along the hallway.

-Thor: "Winter, uh, where are you about to go to?"
-Y/n: "I need to talk to Loki about something."
-Thor: "Let me guess, it's none of my business."
-Y/n: "Correct."

I just walked last him. When I reached Loki's door I knocked at it and he opened the door. We looked each other long in the eyes until he said something.

-Loki: "Y/n."
-Y/n: "Loki."

He pulled me onto him on my waist and started to kiss me and went down to my neck. I pushed him away from me and inside his dorm. Then I close the door.
