Chapter Ten ~ Devil In An Angel

~Luhan's Point of View~
Before class, I told Nancy to meet me in front of my locker in the middle of class. When it was time, I lied to the teacher that I had to use the restroom. I met Nancy there at my locker.

Luhan: Hey.. Nancy.. before you start yelling crazily, there's something important to ask you.

Nancy: It's class time.. so make it quick and plus i don't even want to see your ugly face.. did (YourName) tell you to come talk to me? Because you're always her "hero"

Luhan: Actually, I don't even want her to know. If it helps, this is our secret, between you and I.

Nancy: really? Our secret?

Clue one, she really cares about the relationship between her and I. Obviously, she has a crush on me. Okay. i can't believe im even doing this but for (YourName), i will do it.

Luhan: So why do you bully (YourName)? Be truthful with me or else I really can't find a way to trust you to be my friend.

Nancy: for the sake of more friends, okay..

Clue two, she definitely cares about her popularity, how many friends she has, and if they're cool enough. She's much more calm and quiet when there is no one around, does she act to be all that in front of people to have them know she's better than everyone? Wow it's hard to believe it.

Nancy: I bully her because... it's because the time when we were in elementary school, I was the first person to meet Mike and to care for him and to bring him around the school and guide him. I tried my hardest because i found myself having a crush on him. I wanted to catch his attention and be loved by him but somehow i couldn't and when it was lunch on that very day, I saw Mike laughing and smiling so freely with (YourName). It was so easy for her to make Mike like her but for me, his smiles were as if I forced him. Mike was the reason I was able to manage to wake up in the morning and go to school. Although i had (YourName) in mind, i thought that maybe as time passes, I could get Mike back but it wasn't like that. I became more and more sad, I just had no fun inside of me and my friends were really bugging me to tell them. I told them everything and they said to just bully her like how I always bullied the smart people to get homework. I had no better thought than to agree, so ever since I bullied her. I knew Mike wasn't going to like me but I didn't want him to get in the way of my revenge but every time he was there to protect (YourName), I grew weak in front of him. I always ran off after he said a word. I couldn't stand up to him and I worried of what he might think about me. Even if I changed, he'd still think of me as a bully because I've done it once and twice. To him, I wasn't anyone but a bully to (YourName). It's all the same this year, honestly, Luhan.. do you believe in love at first sight?

Luhan: of course

Nancy: Luhan.. i love you.. but every time, (YourName) takes the guy I like. Two times now, it's like a competition and the way she takes the guy ruins my life, so I sworn revenge to ruin her life as well. I mean I don't get it, you'll be popular if you weren't with her. Mike would have been popular without her too. It's like guys are willing to be unpopular just to be with her, there's so much other girls better than her, so why her? It's so unfair because I wasted all my life to be popular and all she does is do what she loves to get guys.. all my hard work, there's no benefit in return. If my life is ruined like this all because of her, the only way it would be fair is to bully her and ruin her life. No matter what you say, I won't ever stop bullying her, I will follow her for the rest of my life and bully her.The beginning of my life is already ruined, the future would be no better so I rather do something I would have fun with.

Luhan: that is a lot of hate, isn't it? Have you ever thought that it isn't her fault. She didn't intend to "steal" from you. Love is always like that, are you going to hate everyone? Let me tell you that you hated her because of Mike, but did you know that she's having a hard time herself trying to forget Mike? She loves Mike but Mike doesn't love her back. If you truly loved Mike, you wouldn't have given up, would you? You wouldn't have started to bully her or anyone and your life would be perfect, maybe you might even be with Mike. Don't tell me you're blaming (YourName) because of your choices. I understand it is a hard and sad life for you but she is innocent. Also, have you ever thought that it's all your decisions, no one else. So start taking responsibility for your own decisions.

Nancy: I know it's my fault but I don't know how to stop bullying her. Everyone will start looking down at me because I've always been talking bad about (YourName) in front of them but if I all of a sudden be nice to her and be kind and friendly, they'll think I'm such a loser.. and I wouldn't be popular anymore.

As expected, Nancy cares all about what people think of her, she wants to be the top best in everything, she wants to be well known and popular. I'm sure there has to be a way to stop her from bullying (YourName) though. These days, people would do anything to be popular among people. People are self centered and can't help it.

Luhan: So do you expect me to play in your silly game? To be the hero and save her just for your needs of being popular? Have you ever thought of others just for one split second? About my feelings? About (YourName)? Have you? I feel bad for you but come back to talk to me if you understand what I mean when I say to think about others and feel bad for them because I'm also another innocent person that you're playing with.

Nancy has the most stupid reason to bully (YourName), over two guys? What a waste of her time, I bet if she took all that time she wasted bullying others to use it for herself, to make herself a better person, she would have much more guys on her. I feel bad for her because she's insecure but I think this is really unfair to (YourName). She's so innocent but left with scars and pain all over her. If I gave her a quiz about love, she wouldn't even pass it. If I give her a compliment, she might even take it as an insult or just be super surprised that someone said something nice to her. She shows anger when she really isn't mad at anyone. One thing I noticed is that she knows jealousy. She must have been jealous of so many people because they never get bullied. No matter how much I pity Nancy, I'll always be on (YourName)'s side because i think she is the most innocent one here.

Nancy: wait.. I know you're mad, now it's my turn to tell you to not to tell anyone about this. No one, okay? I don't want to lose my popularity among these people here, please. Think about how it'll ruin my life.

Luhan: have you ever thought of transferring to another school? Somewhere where there's not even one person who knows you. That way you can give yourself a chance to restart and to give (YourName) and I a chance to restart our first year in high school? Also to give (YourName) a new happier life.

~My Point of View~
I share lockers with Luhan because I've once complained about mine being too far from my first and second period class. During the middle of class time, I asked to go to my locker to get a book because I've forgotten it. I saw Luhan and Nancy there talking and I hid behind the wall, listening to their conversation the whole time. I can't believe Luhan went behind my back to ask about her and to even care for her.. she can tell him anything.. I agree some of it is true but she makes it like Luhan should pity and feel bad for her. Nancy is up to something again, I know she's trying to get Luhan on her side and I won't let it. She's just a devil in an angel disguise, she acts like an angel but deep down, she's a clever devil. I walked back to class and acted as I never heard anything.
