☾✰I never thought I'd live to see the day in which catastrophe would hit its peak. It was as if the scene jumped out of a horror film.
My eyes enlarged at the terrifying scene in front of me, and I quickly grasp on to Felix's shoulder tightly.
"Hailee? What's wrong, are you okay?"
I couldn't move nor could I pour any words out of me, as I brought my hand towards my mouth.
Felix seemed to hold a grip on the situation and darted his eyes to what I was looking at. I felt a gasp escape him as he took a step back. Glad to know I wasn't the only one present in the midst of this terror.
"I need you girl! wae— Wait wrong part."
The music stopped and she finally turned around with strands of hair inside her mouth as she too, looked shocked to see us and a couple other students staring at her, snickering.
"Listen, I can explain—"
"No!" we both shouted.
"Please don't, I want to erase that memory out of my head completely."
"Hey, are you criticizing my dancing?"
"Ivy, I've seen the music video to BTS's 'I Need U' enough times to know that whatever you just did, is nowhere near accurate to what they did."
Ivy pouted, her eyes dropping low after hearing my honest remark. I didn't exaggerate in the slightest, the girl flew her arms everywhere while repeatedly flapping her hair.
Felix burst out in laughter and we looked up.
"Sorry, but—" he just couldn't hold himself in.
"It was too funny Ivy, especially how you sang aloud. It was very clear how out of breath you were--I respect the passion though.""Glad you find it funny, Felix." she glared.
"Passion is what drives everything, but you wouldn't know that would you, Hailee?" she squinted her eyes, poking my forehead.
Felix and I had just came out of the school gates as the day ended, and the first thing that caught our eyes was Ivy dancing as if she was psycho to yet again, another choreography by her idols. Was she serious? Did she think she was in her bedroom or something?
"Remind us why you were dancing and singing like a maniac in front of school where everyone could watch you?" I asked, genuinely curious.
"Call me crazy, but I think it's a fantastic way to gain confidence. I'd like to display my talents amongst people first, grasp a few reactions that'd potentially offend me and move on so I'll be immune to criticism!" she said happily.
"You are definitely crazy," I laughed. "But you do you I guess."
I looked at Ivy, astonished by her nature. Some days she was like a mature older sister; calm, reassuring and intimidating. Other days she was a passionate child who'd scream her heart out with Korean lyrics. Today was other days.
"I'm just fun," she emphasized while grabbing her things and walking up to us.
"Wait a minute..." she squinted her eyes, approaching both Felix and I suspiciously.
"Why are you guys together? Since when were you two on talking terms?" she asked raising her eyebrows, completely surprised.
"Well..." we both began.
"Let's just say guilt drives people crazy and leads them to do crazier things," I eye Felix with the last part.
"Would you care to elaborate?"
